Dear Khyber

For whatever reason, people often reject me from groups. That's ok, it happens, I've learned to deal with rejection. But please, if you don't want me in your group, do me the courtesy of hitting the decline option and don't leave me hanging. I only have limited time with this game, and it's not easy deciding whether I should wait 5 minutes for your group to fill or run out to do some soloing.

They're pretty radical. Talrok is a Ranger 14/Fighter 6. Orthoclase is a Wizard 13.

If Orthoclase can solo a tower in wiz king, Greenis needs to run it a million times. Even if you can't solo one you can just be my haste bot.

Which part, the posting or the attitude? The posting comes with time. The attitude, hang out with like minded people, it will come easily after a while...lol.

Some people like me don't like rejecting people, so we just ignore :P

If your not getting a response when you hit a lfg, just send the leader a tell saying 'If you don't accept me within <insert time> good luck' or something to that effect. If they aren't proactive, you have to be!

I suggest TRing twice, that 3rd life completely strips away your last shreds of humanity. Then you will be the hardened, embittered ba***rd that we like in Khyber

We don't even talk about what happens to those who TR > twice....it's just too horrible....


Also use 'n00b' more often when talking about others, for example, the below post would be considered sub-standard by Khyber standards:

'I was running tempest elite with a bunch of people in a PUG group when I noticed a monk jumping in the lava. Other people in the quest group told him to stop as it would cause him more damage. Why is this?'

However, with the advice I gave you....:

'I was running tempest elite with a bunch of n00bs in a n00b group when I noticed a n00b jumping in the lava. Other n00bs in the n00b group told the n00b to stop as it would cause the n00b more damage. Why is this?'


There you go, ready for khyber. Finally, finishing stories like the above with 'So I gathered up the n00b's stones and dropped them in the lava' is also nice.

This is a challenge. I aspire to be just such a iron-chewing, nail-spitting, l33t player who wipes every morning with the soulstones of crushed n00bs before soloing epic Chrono. But if I can't get into those groups, how can I learn?
