    Thumbs up Plat Attack

    Greetings!

I was reading a suggestion thread about a blade that will generate money every time you hit something. I don't want to hi-jack that thread so I created my own thread for my suggestion. Sorry if this is suggested before.

I don't know or I am unimaginative to think about the details, but I have the basic thought.
I suggest a niche item, I don't know what class can use it, damage, UMD etc etc.

This item has a clickie skill. The skill will add tremendous damage to your target but in effect, you will lose plat. It is like hitting the enemy with a bag of money and the money will be broken into pieces making it no longer a legal tender.

We can call the skill "Money Shot"

    Thoughts?

    Cheers!

Not sure "money shot" is the classiest way to go.

Also, I can't think of any logical (lore/mechanics-wise) reason why coins would do that. The only game I remember seeing something similar was Final Fantasy. However, as a funky rogue PRE option for an AoE mez/root (as certain mobtypes pick up the shiny loot), it would be kinda fun.

I picked rogue because it seems very rogue-like.

I would think it makes more sense as a ranger. Pew pew pew.
    - I've been to so many raids, but I wouldn't call myself a vet, since I have yet to try out different strategies, tactics and classes in raids.
    - Main in sig, alts: Frostiee, Aliciae, Amandae

You have hijacked the patented magic missile sound. Please make do with some alternate onomatopoeic venture
    i.e. "Pfut Pfut Pfut" etc

Heres a big bag of money mister monster... You fall down and pretend you're dead and we'll take your chest loot and leave. It's way more cash than the value of whats in that chest behind you.

I wonder what it takes to pay off epic demon queen...

    How about "rock the cashbox"?

The impact of the coins deals damage, the coins will be destroyed by the hit.

There's this game called Ragnarok online, there is this Merchant Class (Job) where you can hit the enemy with your bag of coins.

Yup, I am also thinking it is more rogue-like.

My sarcasm check failed me. Yes I agree that you may use more value in plat than the chest reward using this skill, I just got the idea from one of the comments in the Money blade thread, "I rather have DPS than get some coins". So I got this idea. More DPS less plat.
