Question Can Incredible Potential Rings from ToD have multiple effects?

Can you apply multiple Shards to a ring from ToD with Incredible Potential? i.e. can one ring have both Flaming Burst and Icy Burst?

    No.

One ring, one effect. No overwriting effects as well. And as they are exclusive there really isn't a way to have a damage and a heal amp layout for the same set.

Actually, it doesn't answer the question or mention anything about stacking at all.

Shame. They should have allowed overwriting at least.

"The first ring will add "Holy Burst" to all of your unarmed attacks, and the other ring would add "Shocking Burst". The rings do not stack with exactly identical effects. (No Holy Burst Ring + Holy Burst Handwraps, but Holy Burst Ring + Holy or Pure Good Handwraps will work.)"

Hmm, that seems to answer it to me.

    This was the original question.

You answered to a completely different question.

Now it does (I added the note: You may apply only one of the above effects to a single ring, and this effect cannot be replaced afterwards.).

If only it was so easy to change "cannot be replaced afterwards" with "can be replaced afterwards".
