Even if you max your concentration you can still roll a 1.

There is no magical 1 or 20 on skill checks. You either pass or fail. That said, you could still fail a concentration check if its maxed because its based on the incoming damage.

On topic ... Ive got a planned tr to a helf sorc with the Pally dille. Cure wands at early levels and stacking +5 to saves .... mmmmm.

The Paladin Dilletante feat is a better choice because it adds up to +5 of your Cha modifier to your saves. We already have a naturally high UMD, so you may as well take the feat that does something more useful.

One option is to start out with FvS Dilly until his UMD is high enough than use the free feat swap to take pally dilly..or take barb dilly because it's funny

Why FvS over cleric? Cleric gives 95% chance on heal scrolls where FvS is 90%.

Because I didn't want to invest that deep in Wisdom on my Sorc - whereas I already had the Charisma requirement covered.

Wait until Update 9, so you can plan your enhancements and stuff better. We dont know how many AP the new prestige may cost, not to mention if they will require feats for it.
Otherwise, Paladin Dilletante is really nice.
