    Default precision feat

    appears to suck on paper

according to ddo wiki it also halves sneak attack damage which is hideous

is there any situation where it is useful?

Against a mob where you can only hit on, say, an 18/19 at the end of your attack sequence. But then, there's better ways to get your to-hit up to par.

They added a 25% fort bypass in U7. It turned a Terrible Feat into a Teribble Feat.

There's been some discussion on the rogue forums about the new additions to the precision feat. Since rogues get most of their damage from SA, the 25% fort bypass and increased accuracy far outweighs the loss in base dmg, when attacking fortified mobs. This feat (and opportunist) still doesn't allow SA on SA-immune mobs like undead, however, there has been some dev discussion about changing that iirc.
-Thelanis toons- Alektronic (wolf), Bakeneko (monk), Ghyldra (druid), Hermeros (crafter), Lecker (wf wiz),
Panaceus (elemental barb), Quallus (SDK), Taigong (acrobat), Vamprix (warlock), Vercigetorix (bard)

It halves SA damage too. And rogues are somewhat feat starved.
