That being said,if she literally asked for your help clearing out her inventory I can't see how she can get mad at the results.

She says she told me before that she wanted to keep it, but I didn't remember her saying that. Note this is the same woman who wanted to keep a +4 int helm around just in case an intel rune came up that needed to be pushed.

'Course this is also the same woman who has somehow pulled almost every named armor item in the game. I couldn't believe what she had in her inventory that I'd never heard of before. This weekend she ended up with the Habiliment Armor from Mindsunder on her second run. She pulled a suppressed pale ioun within a couple of quests after arriving in the Harbor. She's got some serious chest voodoo going on that makes me sick.

As for price, definitely not cheap. When I was actively doing Abbot a few months ago, they were running 800k-1.2m plat.

Nope, I don't even want to go there if she asks/tells me to. I think she keeps some of her past victims in it.

I will be running inferno at least 5 or 6 times on my TR to get abbot prepped, ill let you know If i get one for sale. Of course, the price wont be cheap, 49kp at the least :P

I just wanted to mention, my wife can and will apologize if she over reacted or unfairly got mad at me. Yes I am serious, I think its because shes more a tom boy then a girly girl, but really I have no idea, I just know I love the hell out of it. Now granted, if I DID screw up, she gets mad and will not apologize, and thats fine I screwed up, but its usually her over reacting and I get a nice neck massage and "baby I'm sorry" and some snuggles.

Atonement is a very nice weapon, especially for paladins and FvS lord of the Blades in
quests like abbot and Litany. And i wouldn't sell it if i got 49k pp for it. You can easily acces that kind of money by doing fx. some elite dreaming dark or mindsunder loot runs and vendor your loot.

If I were her I would be more annoyed at how little you got for the item than losing an item that wouldn't be that useful for my class. Future note: if you don't know what an item is worth, hold onto it.

(A +4 int helm is perfectly reasonable to keep on hand if neither of you can activate int runes! Of course a +6 helm is probably a better idea...).

My wife and I are gaming together as the traveling Paladins while I TR and she learns the game. She's currently banking lvl 19 and is getting close to running the high level raids and has been having inventory full problems. So, I told her I would help her clean out her inventory and did so. One thing I sold on the AH for about 49kp was her Atonement; figuring how many times is being Quelled a problem?

She hit the roof saying she wanted to keep it since everyone in the quest she'd pulled it in was drooling over it. I didn't think it offered much for a Paladin but I may be quite wrong. So I guess I need to know what Atonements typically go for on the AH (yes, I know the AH is a very transitory place and thus is going to be a difficult question to answer).

As a bit of an appeasement, I gave her my +4 Holy Burst Greatsword of Maiming which I figured would offset it some.

You need to replace it. By Surprise. Have fun.
