    Default Three Man Squad.

I am planning on starting on a new server with two friends of mine. one is an inexperienced player, who is not a power gamer in the slightest, but enjoys keeping my Red bar full the other is more so of a power gamer, but not enough to forsake us, she will adapt to any role i give her. i myself am an experienced player and a very good builder. i adapt well but have several preferred places. I recently fell in love with the Monk class and have made a build that works wonders. i am going to use this, i believe. (it is a Half-Elf Wind stance Dark Monk with Cleric Dilettante). my Healer friend (the only one lacking 32 point builds, but i may be able to get her to pick them up) will play either a FvS or a Cleric. i was thinking a combat-ish FvS so she can back me up in combat. (she insists upon Elf characters. she finds them pretty. i can live with this for the Undying Call, which will True Rez me if i need it) the other i was thinking a Wizard/Rogue. (17/3) seeing as with Wizard buffs i can do just about anything and the Rogue will allow us to do all traps, secret doors ect. thinking Half-Elf for her as well (Barbarian Dilettante) for the strategy of holding a Shield, throwing a Firewall, me standing in it and fighting and her blocking (in case she draws aggro. i would prefer avoid as many deaths as possible. and also for that True Rez ya know.) and she takes the Elven line for dropping Arcane Spell Failure. i would like Critique and Insight into this. and other suggestions.

(P.S. this is starting on a new server, so i will be poor, but i have a friend over there who should be able to help me out some at least.)

(P.P.S. i didn't know where to post this in the forums, hope this was the right place!)

please get back to me on this everyone!

With three players, presumably playing quests with just the three of you, I would recommend that you ensure that one of you can deal with traps and locks.

This doesn't mean that one of you needs to play a pure Rogue, of course, but missing out on the chance to detect and disable traps, within a party that could be disciplined/coordinated enough to wait for them to disabled, could make things harder.

Just my tuppence, other people are bound to have differing opinions.

Just a recommendation - Maybe go all Warforged to help with Immunities and Healing.

    As for Classes:

    • WF Wizard\Rogue (Handling some Healing and Traps)
    • WF Favored Soul (Handling some more Healing and DPS)
    • WF Fighter (DPS)

If you build a DPS focused WF Favored Soul, he\it can provide decent backup healing in case you need it. Should be a tough group to take down.

First level: Rogue. Feats taken at level 1: Barbarian Dilettante; Insightful Reflexes.
Skills Taken: Concentration (cross-class), Disable Device, Balance, Tumble, Haggle, Diplomacy, Bluff, Jump, Swim, Search, UMD.

Ialeil the Ubique Undying: Lawful Good, Elf, Favored Soul.

    Str:16

P.S. she picked up 32 point builds. so all of those are 32 point characters.
