It isn't an epic item but I have only seen 1 Dwarven Thrower.I remember peeps talking about them when DDO first came out.<shrugs>

Festivult Jester gave me a dwarven thrower for a gold turn in first time they introduced the event.

Look at the Necropolis packs, Abbot loot, Tome/Shield/Tapestry turn-in's, the adamantine ore turn-ins in House K and bound to account end loot from quest chains like STK, Tangleroot, Sharn Syndicate and Threnal.

Edit - Dwarven Throwers have been common to see on the AH in the 1.5 years I've played.

I love that thing. So funny to put up in the Korthos tavern, or the Harbor, and watch people dance.

I purposely dance with the genie's, and I know a few others do as well.
