Why are some people such wimps?

Seriously doing a level 17-20 reavers refuge run, we fill up, we are about to go in, then the level 19 warforged barberian starts to whine over voice chat, "guys are you really sure that you want to do this on elite with only one healer? "and hes a warforged favoured soul carrying a great sword so I doubt hes the best healer around, must be one of those battle clerics". I replied "dude first off its reavers and we are way above level for this quest. Secondly the favoured soul can heal fine and we prob wont need it, we got 3 paladins, 2 bards one which is a spell singer and prob a good healer 2, and 2 rangers. Not to mention the fact that we have 2 wizards and ones a warforged so he could most definately reconstruct your ass. Get a grip!!! He ended up getting booted by the party leader, because he whined and said one of the later melees to join should be dropped to make room for a healer, so one melee was dropped lol.


And during a level 10-12 tempest spine a dwarf fighter starts moaning because he thinks 2 healers wont be enough esp (again) as one is a wf fs with a great weapon and we all know that those cant heal. And in this quest we had 2 bards 1 a spellsinger(me). I pretty mush replied the same way. I got heal scrolls 2 you wimp!!!

Whats with people? afraid to even go out the door on the most basic easyiest quests with out a healer to personally hold their hands? Buy some pots ffs and stop whinging.

Hey I got told the other day I shouldn't be tanking Reaver with less than 600 HP *snort* and I couldn't do it on my exploiter. Um, I did the tanking no issue last time in, say I. Oh, but you can't, goes the healer. He was fretting a bit about solo healing it so to a certain extent I have slight sympathy about being a little cautious, but I still laughed quite a bit.

That is doubly failtastic of the barb if it was Reaver's Fate. LOL.

I was in (yet ANOTHER) Failhound on Sarlona yesterday (this one, the bard charmed one dog at a time and the healers didnt heal them. UGH.), and on a whim, in the Sub waiting for everyone, I tossed Bear's Endurance.

It procced on a level 17.

He told me he doesnt wear a +Con item because he cant afford one.

ive tanked the reaver on my exploiter and because of his charges i could heal myself with unlimmited sp, its so **** easy. I cant believe parties of level 17-20 have actually wiped in the first part before they even get to the puzzle.

why bother with hp's when you can just have the clerics res you? who cares about death penalties, and icys and two lit's are a must!!! dps dps dps dps dps!!! /sarcasm off, dps dont help much when your dead, and even if you get a raise the death penalties............ and lost of all your buffs............... oh well some people.

You do understand it's a deliberate ploy by the melees? My favourite Reaver's raids are, have one of those healer types tank the boss and wake me up when the puzzle is done. If only, there wasn't the reverse gravity thingy waking me up.

Reavers fate is either one person who can self heal tanking and 11 people piking beating on air elementls, or one person who cant self heal tanking, one person healing, and 10 people piking and beating on air elementals.

The pikers are there for the better chance of loot acquisition. This quest has been soloable for a number of years now.

You probably just ran into a newbie with no completions who didnt know better yet. After a few runs they will understand.

Stand in the archway, by the barrier. You won't even take damage from the fall.
