28 build and true reincarnation

No answer using search so have a question for all the experts here.

I have a 19 lvl 28 point build (don't ask why).

I'm thinking of buying a greater wooden heart to upgrade to 32 point.

I may not do this though IF a true reincarnation will will over ride 28 build and treat it as 32 build.

So my question is if I go for true reincarnation, do i need to first use a greater wooden heart to upgrade to 32 point build???

true reincarnation will make you a 34 point build but put you back at level 1

TR = 28 or 32 (doesnt matter) to 34 and then 36 but put to lvl 1
GR = 28 to 32 and stays at current level

Unless you TR into Drow. Then you will be a 30 point build, then 32 for TR2+.
