Exclamation A Heads-up to all Paladins!

If you use Divine Might, Divine Sacrifice or Exalted Smite, MAKE SURE you have replaced the buttons on your hotbar with the upgraded ones! instead of using the Tier 1 skills all the way to level 18 like I did

Actually, the same with any other "Active" Enhancement with multiple tiers like Half-Orc Power Attack, i.e. hover over your hotbar to make sure the description for the button says Divine Might IV and not still Divine Might I etc.

There was a HUGE and very noticeable difference in my damage output after making that correction!

A good tip, that should not be exclusively for pallies.
I did the same thing on my rogue when I started, but realised about 10 levels earlier than you did.

That seems pretty logical no ...

    wait..?

    what..?!

exalted smite isn't that a passive thing as in computes automaticly.. ?

    looks in enh...

    what ?!

drags button to bar and runs in invaders..

So normally i smite them for around 300 damage..

You hit Flesh Render for 490 points of slash damage.

... and as the damage output triples across the servers, suddenly the masses realise the pally isn't that gimped after all.

Edit: And then the great Pally nerf of 2011 begins...

I've had this happen sometimes right after an LR. It auto-populates your bar in the beginning, and I tend to LR and go to sleep....

Then I wake up and wonder why my smites are so wonky XD Good times.
