Default POLL: Does DDO need more guild administration functions???

Everyone's favorite Drunken Monk Shaamis here.

    /chugchugchugchugchug.

    Turbine and developers......

Please allow more guild administrative functions in DDO.

    1) Please allow more levels of guild membership. "Member", "Officer", and "Leader" are not enough. When a senior member of a guild wants to be promoted, or given additional duties, without having the guild roster at stake handed over, its really hard to handle the guild.

Members leave after a few months of playing, because "I work hard every day (for a few months) and dont get any respect", or "I'm a vet of several MMOs and I have a lot of good ideas to bring, but I'm just a member" goes out, it's hard to give a player the fate of your guild over to them.

I propose a Senior Member, or a Junior Officer station to be added:

    Member
Senior Member (setting MotD duties, and able to invite alts of another members account into the guild)
Junior Officer (some officer duties such as adding new members, but NOT booting members, view officer chat, and setting MotD duties)
    Officer (same powers and duties)
Successor (with its own rank, and powers slightly above officer, such as ability to demote Officers)
    Guild Leader (Supreme Executive Power)

Please add additional Guild Admin functions!!!!!

Thats all, I'll go back to my normal drunken stupor......

SOUND OFF IF YOU WANT THIS!!!!

    /signed.

Currently, being a successor/#1 officer, means diddly squat, as far as functionality.

I think that along with adding the extra titles, they should be allowed to be visible, on a person by person basis (if the officer/leader/successor/whatever doesn't want it shown they can toggle it off)

And I still want custom ranks and titles.
Have you ever wanted to create your own customized user interface skins for DDO?

Did you check the /guild command ?

Most of the functions are here... they are just Indefinitely unavailable until we attend to the server wide rank renaming bug.

/guild renamerank until it was disabled because it renamed the rank for all the guilds on the server.
On G-Land : Flavilandile, Blacklock, Yaelle, Millishande, Larilandile, Gildalinde, Tenalafel, and many other...

    Default Renown

I just wish we could see in the guild interface how much renown each member had achieved. Would help guilds know who their most valuable members are, you know?

They are all valuable in there own special way. There are several in my guild that demonstrate terrible builds and why you shouldn't play them. That trumps the amount of renown you generate.

Only if it were limited to the leader. Maybe successor as well. We don't need another MyDDO.
