How does one go about getting hold of a +3 lesser heart of wood? Is there a material value attached to these? I've realised that I desperately need to change some class/feat choices on my character now that I have been running more epics.

I don't buy consumables from the store so that option is out for me. Would you or anyone else consider parting with one of these on any other terms? (I don't have the ioun stone that you mention).

i pulled mine out of an epic devil assault quest and yes we had the mojo done to the chest(greatest dragonmark of finding)and,
i would part with mine for an sos scroll or the afformentioned ioun stone.

I think the store pulls such as the aforementioned hearts of wood are simply random drops. I was playing with my 6-year-olds in Chronoscope on normal (a level 6 raid) and we pulled a +1 greater heart of wood. No loot boosts, no mojo, and just a level 6 raid and we got one. So basically, if you want a heart of wood just get crazy lucky.

Dragonmark doesn't affect epic chests. They're already level 22 chests. Can't go higher. Read Tolero's post on loot.
