    Exclamation Can i run DDO?

Well I tried to run Lord of the Rings online but it says my video card wont work so I'm wondering if it's the same for DDO:
    Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T2370 @ 1.73GHz
1.7 GHz Performance Rated at: 2.55 GHz
    Ram:2.0 GB
    Windows Vista
Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family
Minimum attributes of your Video Card
    DirectX version
    You Have: 11.0

Not sure, my older computer used X4500HD onboard that is 2 generations above the 965 chipset. It ran okay on medium, so should on low or a stripped down medium.

I won't be able to help much, but to give an idea, I used to be able to run DDO at it's lowest resolution on the following laptop ( 4 years ago ):

    Vaio T2XP
    Pentium M 1.2 Ghz
512Mb RAM ( shared with graphic below )
    Graphic : Intel GMA 855
    Windows XP.

I did try to install DDO:EU last year when we were announced the European Shutdown...
I didn't have any problem installing nor starting the game... but even at the lowest setting it was unplayable.
I could barely move once I reached Korthos Island.

Now I'm not even sure it will run...
On G-Land : Flavilandile, Blacklock, Yaelle, Millishande, Larilandile, Gildalinde, Tenalafel, and many other...

You don't actually state what your Graphics card is but the requirements for DDO are:

    Minimum System Requirements
    OS: Windows® XP
Processor: P4 1.6 GHz or AMD equivalent with SSE
    Memory 512 MB RAM
Graphics Card 64 MB Hardware T&L -compatible video card
    Network Connection 56.6 K modem
    Software Windows XP, DirectX 9
Disc Space 3GB, 4GB for high resolution * NOTE: This disc space does not reflect recent game updates. Up to 6 GB may be required for installation.

    Recommended System Requirements
    OS: Windows® XP/ Vista
Processor P4 3.0GHz or AMD equivalent with SSE
    Memory 1GB RAM
Graphics Card GeForce FX or better with 128MB of memory
Network Connection Cable Modem or DSL connection
    Software Windows XP, DirectX 9
Disc Space 3GB, 4GB for high resolution * NOTE: This disc space does not reflect recent game updates. Up to 6 GB may be required for installation.
If you are running below any of these requirements, you may encounter graphical issues or poor overall performance which Turbine will be unable to troubleshoot.
If you follow these instructions to post your dxdiag we can give you a clearer idea:

I would update your chipset drivers:

    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...19597&lang=eng

Intel provide a detect utility for display drivers:
    http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/detect.htm

And here is the Media accelerator driver:
    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...amily&lang=eng

Hopefully these newer drivers will help DDO to more accurately determine if your system is compatible.

What's the resolution in your UserPreferences.ini?

Some time ago I could run it on a GeForce 440 MX, which is a card that skirts the minimums.
(And your graphics card seems to be a Intel Gl960)

I pointed you at the Intel website based on the information provided so unless your Laptop manufacturer has bespoke display drivers you have the latest available.

It's not a seperate card like you get in desktops so for your system, no there is no upgrade unfortunately (some Alienware gaming laptops have upgradable graphic cards)

Given that DDO is giving you an error ( Game error [121] ) and this isn't in their knowledgebase I would submit a ticket:

    http://support.turbine.com/ics/suppo...?style=classic

Asking if this code definitely means you cannot run DDO on this particular hardware or if there is anything more you can try.

According to the DxDiag you have Driver Version: 7.14.0010.1329 (English)

The latest driver I could find for your system seems to this http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...=2529&lang=eng which seems to be a higher version. So it should be possible to update.

Edit: Just tested it on my archaic Intel 82845G, and it worked. So really can't understand why yours won't.
Perhaps try to lower the DirectX version in the UserPreferences.ini.

Will depend on the video card of the laptop, if it refused lotro then chances are ddo won't be playable either.
I also run on a vaio at the lowest graphic settings, so it can run as long as it accepts the video card.
One thing to say is that ram gotta be enough, or get into the habit of restarting the client every now and then.
