Best place to get a rough value is the AH. Most signficant exchanges of high end stuff however ends up happening via trades, not sales.

Since you can just buy smalls at the DDO store, those AH prices are pretty soft.

seriously ??? rough value ?? AH is always way overpriced unless someone that actually knows the true value of the item posts it and even then they still try to get a little bit more because of the cut the AH takes

Since there are no vendors or brokers for those items, the only place you can get them without trading with someone (or simply getting them yourself) is via the AH. Since the AH has no bartering option, those are the prices you might have to pay for those items. Often for the various ingredients I see people offering AH-25-30% for in person trades or sales. If you have any better source of prices or values, feel free to offer the OP that info. Just because a few idiots ask for 10 times the value of something, does not in any way alter the fact that most realistic sellers ask prices in the right ballpark.

I might hope to get 1000 pp for a vial of Pure Water, but seriously doubt many would pay that. For the Vale ingredients, some of them are so common that you will have more than you will ever use after a swing or two in the explorer area. Others might take repeated runs of specific quests. For someone with oodles of plat and not a lot of time to spend on those quests, they pay a premium for that Twig or Funk. The relative prices of larges have remained pretty consistent (allowing for a bit of overall inflation this past year, which is also why I mentioned that most people needing those items end up trading.) If you have no one to trade with, then once again, pretty much the only spot you can get those things is the AH.

Small and Mediums I give away. Have millions of em. You can usually find a guildie with an overflowing bag that can give you what you need.

Just because those are the only place to buy them doesn't mean that is there true value , unfortunately the inflation in this game and the constant attitude that my loot is better then anything in the whole world and its worth a billion pp is just wrong and it shows on the AH , that is all I'm saying

To answer the OP here is my rough #'s for ya

Vale Ingredients:
twigs - are ridiculous right now but average price id say 60 - 100k pp
funk & pebbles - these two usually are pretty close to the same price but id say 40 - 80 k pp
fungi/petals/husk - these three are usually the bottom when it comes to these ingredients but id say they still sell for around 25 - 50 k pp

smalls and med ingredients to the newer player are more valuable , to a older player like me and other Vets around here there dime a dozen but id say you can sell or buy these roughly around 15 - 50 k pp depending on the ingredient and who the buyer and seller are

Large Ingredients:
Large Scales - 300 - 500 k pp but i go with the lower # when the newer players will go with the higher #
Large Stones - 150 - 250 k pp
Large Shrapnel/Arrows - 75 - 125k pp
Large Chain/Bones - 40 - 80k pp

hope this helps for the OP but again some will disagree with me on the prices but anyone that bases there info off the AH and stick with that pricing just don't know IMHO

Here is what I price most larges at and what is closest to fair value in my opinion for the 2 and half years have been playing.
Large scales 200-300k plat
Large stones 100-200k plat
Large arrow, chain and shrapnel about 50-100k plat
Large bones are give away in my eyes.
These are normally what I pay and sell larges at when I am in need of plat or larges.
