    Default Assualting some devils

Ok, I just bought devil assualt and realize what a great big annoyance chronoscope is. So i am looking for a Level 4-8 greatsword with the following properties:
    Metalline
    Flametouched
    Pure Good

If you have something with all 3, that would be perfect, but i doubt few people get them. Any combination of those 3 would be great. if it is a simple +X flametouched greatsword, ill buy that.

What's the point of a flametouched weapon of pure good?

all you need is a metalline of pure good, flametouched metalline, holy silver, or silver of pure good to bypass dr, anything in one of those 4 combinations is worth buying.

All you need for Chronoscope is a flametouched iron greatsword which you can buy from the vendor inside the Chronoscope raid. Problem solved.

Flametouched iron = good damage, Holy = good damage, pure good = good damage, they don't stack.
Metalline = silver, cold iron, adamantine, crystal and mithral (maybe more?)

Chrono doesn't need silver/metalline. It's possible Chronoscope is Silver OR Good. Good is easy to find at the Chronoscope raid though.

Later when you are fighting proper devils you will need Silver AND Good against bosses.

Ahhh thanks for the correction, when I read the title I thought he was running devils assault...come to think of it that doesn't need met/pg either.

But you'll get more raid mileage out of a met/pg weapon, but as wax mentioned all you need right now is pure good, holy, or flametouched. Though a holy/pg weapon is a great find still.

Metalline is only metal-based damage types (Adamantine, Mithral, Cold Iron, Byeshk
    (doesn't do Crystal)

Normal devils (like in Chronoscope) need Good OR Silver to bypass the damage reduction. Devil bosses like in Devil Assault, Shroud, VoD, ToD need Good AND Silver. Just look at the Damage line on the weapon to tell what it actually does.

The boss of Chronoscope needs just Good to beat his DR, and requires one of acid, electric, fire and cold to suppress his regeneration for a short time (depending upon his form at the time - white is the ice form, so you need fire, etc).

Arcane casters can (and usually in non-epic runs should) provide the elemental damage, although if you happen to own an Icy Burst of Pure Good weapon, you'll be popular with the arcane casters for taking over one of their jobs.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.
