Can we get an adult server for people who are okay with cursing and calling names?

I can see a lot of the problem-players who are close to permabans flocking to such a server.

This would also keep the other servers clear of pottymouths and meanies. ^____^

Doubtful, because then no one would care about what they are saying. There's no point to griefing if no one considers it to be griefing.

why do you need a server for this??

you have the option to enable/disable a filter. and you ALWAYS have the choice on who you group with.

theres also a squelch tool. and even the option to report people.

the only reason I can see a person suggesting this is if they happen to be the person getting repeatedly squelched or reported.


MY suggestion:

Play nice. Trash talking is fine. But should be reserved for people you know. Doing that with a stranger is probably the reason you receive infractions.

There you can curse and call each other names - or in other words, behave like real adults.

Whenever a 'let's start a new server for X' idea comes up I ask the basic question...

Are there enough people who would start a new character on this server to make it worthwhile?

In this case this largely seems like a server for those who are at risk of being banned or have been banned from DDO due to colorful language. I doubt that there are enough players who would swap to a server such as this to make it a worthwhile investment.

A more widespread 'adult' themed server with minor graphic adjustments also to show more graphic violence and racy content might have enough people who would play on it, but at the cost of another build of the game which would probably be more cost to Turbine then it is worth again.

I was merely suggesting a place for those people to go. I know people, who I dislike, who have been permabanned numerous times.

They keep making new accounts and coming back always griefing and starting things in General chat.

If they could just have a place to go where they won't have to worry about being banned and can continue to pay, and I won't have to worry about seeing them in General, that'd be great.

your point is silly considering this simle solution:

Disable general chat and the problem is solved. why build a server when the solution already exists in game? To further insulate yourself, disable all general and trade channels and only use guild/party; then only play with friends/guildies and there you go.

Maybe a server with PvP everywhere except the taverns..including friendly fire damage in quests, explorer areas are public rather than instanced...maybe this could be the perfect honeypot server to keep the PvP crowd off the other servers, especially by allowing a free 1 time character move.

An "Island of Misfit Boys" would do more harm than good. Confuse people who are looking at different servers, wondering why they can't play there.

Sure.. cause the other majority of pvpers thatre silent and choose not to be idiots cant enjoy themselves either. Ofcourse, amazing idea. Please, quit lumping all the pvpers into one large negative group. Its the same as how not all people on the forums arent trolls, the majority lurk, most just post normally, but the small vocal minority gives the whole place a bad name. Its the same with pvp.
