Default Reducing screen clutter - Hotbar sets

I'd love the ability to have hotbar sets, and then be able to switch between those sets, thus changing what hotbars are visible on the screen.

That way, I could only have a few hotbars active on my screen at once - a couple of 'combat' hotbars containing my weapon sets and combat skills, or hit a hotkey and have those be replaced with my spell hotbars, hit another hotkey and those vanish and now I'm looking at my equipment hotbars, etc, etc. I can have a much smaller area of my screen dedicated to hotbars, as I only need to allow for a max of 5 visible, instead of all 12, for example.

Obviously, the number of hotbars in each set will change with class and/or playstyle, so players will need to be able to manually assign a hotbar into a given hotbar set.

I'd suggest keeping the hotkeys for the buttons on the hotbars static, that they don't change as the visible hotbars change - I'd like to be able to be looking at a different set of hotbars on my cleric while still using the 1-0 keys to cast spells on hotbar 1 (which would not be visible), for example.

No comments for this one? I thought it was a cool idea, that shouldn't be too difficult to implement (it's not changing any UI elements, just changing which are visible - there's already a hotkey to turn them all on and off, so why not hotkeys to turn groups of hotbars on and off?) and would enhance the play experience and help deepen the immersion (the less the UI gets 'in your way' the more you immerse yourself).

    Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, etc

You can half do it now. Don't undock quickbars from 1-9, only undock bars 10+. This way you can access quickbars 1-9 with Ctrl+number keyboard combo.

Either you didn't read my post, or I didn't explain myself well.

I'm talking about putting multiple hotbars into a 'group' of hotbars, for example:

    Hotbar Group 1: Hotbar 1,2,3
    Hotbar Group 2: Hotbar 4,5,6,7
    Hotbar Group 3: Hotbar 8,9,10

And then using hotkeys to switch between which hotbar group is visible on the screen.

You could set the hotbars to be in the same area of the screen, effectively 'on top of each other', except not, because only 1 group is visible.

In the above example, I could have 10 hotbars available to use, but only have a max of 4 visible at one time.

I don't know about other people, but I tend to do a manual grouping - all my combat skills together, weapon sets together, spells together, equipment (for swapping gear and/or activating clickies) together, but I'm only using one 'group' of hotbars at a time - either I'm swapping gear around, or I'm casting spells, or I'm meleeing, so why have all the bars there at the same time?

    Make sense now?
