Barb solo Sins Elite

Yeah yeah I know it's no longer such a big thing but I ground a lot of elite necro to get that favor so I could do stuff like this so I'm quite pleased with myself.

I don't know the quest particularly well so it took me longer than it should have when I made some wrong turns. All in all I clocked in at 42 mins.

I drank about 70 silver flame pots (too many by half, need to cut this to 40 or fewer) so the small chain I got isn't quite breaking me even. :P

I did Orthon and did the poison this run. Will try it again soon without the poison then move on to the more difficult bosses.

I see your Elocator's Habiliment still has all its Displacement clickies. >.> May have been a nice thing to pop between rages and saved you a Silver Flame pot or two. Do wish they'd make that clickie usable while raged, like a pot...

Congrats, dude. Even if 500 other DDO Players have done it, I know it feels special to an individual player when we each get to do something for the first time. I felt the same way taking my Bard through there solo on Normal, dungeon scaling and all.

Some other pointers I can think of to make it a little less Pot-intensive:

Those new Abishai cookies.. isn't one of them 10 minutes of Blur? That's 20% less incoming hits.

Abbott cookies for (slightly) more DR?

Nah don't put it down. It's a pretty **** hard task to pull off. Just the fact you have gotten silver flame potions is a great achivement, very few people on my server seem to have them.

It's still an extremely hard thing to do. The timing on the drinking ur pots has to be perfect in some spots, as there is still the short animation delay. And you still need monster DPS to handle that -10 str and other penalties.

Might of been other barbs to do it since me, but your the first post I've seen of it personally.

Grats Stool. I meant to post earlier but I just can't log into the forums on my phone for some reason, and I browse the forums on the way to work.

Even for a self healing class Elite sins can be hairy with the alerts, so great job. I'm 41 favour away from SF pots on my barb too, need Blighted and Tormented on Elite...ouch.

Its become quite the common thing along players from G-Land especially, weve had 4 guildies solo this (my barb , an exploiter, a rogue/monk, and now another barb) ive also seen 3-4 other posts under server pride section, but ye it is impressive, and everyone's first time has to be something special.. i know i was in shock, the 17 times since havent felt the same lol.

Sry bout that loot, you should get better loot if you solo a quest elite..
