Guild only LFMs(unless we got 9 tanks and a caster....then we need healers)

That was after, when we were running back out. Then you mentioned something about being naked makes finding the cheetos easier. Then he proceeded to tell us how difficult it really was to find a cheeto underneath his titie. Thats when I seriously started thinking about /squelch.

I missed teh funnies apparently. O.o So, did you ask him if it was any easier to find the flaming hot cheetos as opposed to the cheesy ones? Y'know, 'cause the sweat makes the spice burn a bit more on the hot ones...

That was the only thing I said the entire run. I just wanted the uncomfortable silence to end. What made it worse was that the guy's voice was a passible imitation of John C. Reily. Sarlona, cheetos under the teat capital on online gaming.

Ive wiped a lot of liquids of my keyboard, vomit was not going to be one of en, I kept my mouth shut.

He kept saying things like, Im just trying to bring some funnies. I thought jeez, start with something that will make me laugh instead of making me throw up. Christ you have to work your way up to things like that!

I was told last night in a group by a pug, "If it makes you feel any better im a really fat man and I play naked" Then a few min later, "Oh I found a chip under one of my rolls! Woot!"

This was in response to me evidently not having enough fun playing, so he was trying to spice it up. Why a naked fat man pulling chips out of his rolls was supposed to spice things up i have no idea.

I dont care what it is. Im NOT buttering you up for anything.

Now I like I think those LFMs are just as bad as "need a Guide...experinced only please!!!" And no this isn't a swipe at Friends/Private...unless you yahoos do that too .

To be fair, the best ones are "Elite, Need Opener, Need Guide,"

What if it's that guilds 8th or 9th run of said raid and they have thus put all guild clerics on timer??? Should they just stop an other wise good raid night cuz they ran out of healers??? it just seems to me there might be more then one reason why that grp is looking for a cleric or 2 or any class for that matter.

Well, on 8 or 9 runs of the same raid, most people are going to be out of toons, not just healers! LoL

We are a small guild, less than 20 members. We have several guild healers, and more people leveling up healers, but sometimes we want to run a raid or epic and nobody has a healer who's off timer. Same sometimes happens with bard or casters in Epics. Many times we end up switching out to our healers/arcanes/etc, and end up putting up a lfm for more DPS.

I think this happens a lot with smaller guilds. Not everyone is in, or wants to be in, a guild with 100 or more members. We have ran all-guildie raids, even short manned several raids/epics. But we will also pug out available spots if we need too, or just to give someone else a shot at loot if it's a raid that guildies aren't chasing gear in.

Nobody here is suggesting a guild never pugs healers.

The knock is when a guild puts up a raid and the lfm reads "XXX Guild members only" then once its filled to just needing 2 healers changing it to, "Need 2 quality healers"

I understand, my point was that sometimes we start a party for a guild run, then find out the person who was going to solo heal it is on timer, or had RL issues and can't come. If nobody else has a healer off timer then we will have to put up a lfm for one, or usually two pug healers. Or we end up canceling the raid.

It's not always just that nobody wanted to switch to a healer...

Of course, I never did understand putting up a LFM for 'guild only' runs. So much easier to invite from guild panel or even guild chat.

Of course things happen. The OP has been playing long enough to know this. But we see the same guilds putting up guild only runs day in and day out. Dont think that stuff really applies here.

Well, that's very true. Never did understand 'guild only' LFM's. What's the point? Kinda like the lfm I saw yesterday with 4 members that said 'last 2 spots reserved'.
