Lol, agreed, he bought me food, so it's all cool on that end, and I would do it again.
I just had a massive /facepalm, because I even had a sticky next to my keyboard to remind me before logging off, and I did check messages before going to bed.

Anyway, that's the problem with the first-price auction system. They really should support ebay-style second price auctions, then you can bid away without a care.

I think I have one. I'll check my weapon mule when I get home from work...about 7:30 p.m. EST. I tend to pack away anything that has metaline/silver with holy/pure good on them.

Are you a bastard sword spec? If you are I'll pass on what I have. I squirreled a few really nice bastard swords.

Now, seems only proper pay back that your bro get his account in order and start farming for that weapon to pay you back. Added benefit is his tipsy needs no ride to get to bed from the computer!

So I was hoping to win a +1 Metalline Bastard Sword of Pure Good last night.
I knew the auction was ending at around 5AM EST, so I figured I would put my last bid up at 1-2AM before going to bed, and hope that I have it in my mailbox in the morning.
At around midnight I check, but hold off putting up a bid, until right before I am going to log off, in case the other bidder is still on.
A few minutes later my brother calls saying he needs a DD, because his bailed, so I go and get him without thinking to put up my bid...
I come home, check for messages, go to bed, but forgot to do my bid....
I remember at around 6AM, when my daughter's crying wakes me up. So I get her situated and hope that it's still there.
It's not I loose, poor me.
So congrats to whoever got it, and if anyone else wants to sell me their's for under 5k just let me know

Don't sweat it. With three hours to go, and that low a bid, SOMEone would have outbid you, even if only someone scanning the 1hr auctions from the weapons tab. If you can't be on when it closes, really expect not to get it. That's why i hate non-b/o auctions, and love it when i'm on and get something for waaay less than i would've paid if they'd put a reasonable b/o on the thing.

Turbulent is also BS specced, and I thought about sending you one of his.

But when I saw that on the AH, I figured it was a cheap price to pay to keep his BS in case I ever come back to Thelanis for more than Turbine Point farming

Intayazz, Human TWF Bastard Sword, lvl 4, but almost lvl 6 in exp. I don't level that fast, and hope to be 10 by the end of next week, but will most likely be lvl 8 only. I'm a bit flighty when it comes to playing a character past lvl 10, but this is my buckle down character and make it to 20.

Hmmmm, good idea. If only he was a MMO player.... and had the internet..... or even a computer .
He did have problems in the past, so this is definitely an improvement.

Thank you everyone. I posted this as more of a sharing my /facepalm moment, for not reading my stupid sticky note.
Like I said, I am going to make this my main character and finally make it to end game. So help is appreciated, even of it's seeing me in-game and just telling me where I should be leveling next, or if you see me posting a lot on the forums, tell me to stop wasting time and get back in the game
