Default "What If" AA & Bow Strength (and related enhancements) worked with Repeaters

Hey guys I was really bored during lunch at work today (forgot my book) so i booted up my cell and started doing some doodling and came up with the idea to make an AA/Mech1/Kensai2 (would do pure rogue but WAY too many feats needed) even though I knew it wasn't possible due to repeaters being unaffected but what can I say I was bored and sorta curious as how it could affect things so this is what I came up with...and frankly it would actually really help up the effectiveness of ranged combat

Note: I'm actually unsure about the level order and really its flexible whether you go for Bow Str or mech 1 Int first...really fighter first would make the lower levels easier and you could avoid ever having the rogue symbol and thus people who expect you too do traps...alternatively you could take ranger levels as well but I liked fighter better overall

Anyways here it is with the stat/equipment breakdown as well:

    Str 16+2(Tome )+6(Item) +3(Enh) +3(Excep) +2 (Lvls) = 32
    Dex 16+2 (Tome)+6 (Item) +4(Enh) + 1(lvls) + 3(Excep) = 32
    Con 12+2 (Tome)+6 (Item) = 20
    Int 16+2 (Tome)+6 (Item) = 24 + 2 (Lvls) +2(Excep) = 28
    Wis 8+2 (Tome)+6 (Item) = 16
    Cha 8+2 (Tome)+6 (Item) = 16

Since Bow str makes less sense on a self propelled weapon it would make more sense that bow str causes the x-bow to increase in size (thus a bigger bolt) based on your Str Mod...plus it would look cool

    I'll chime before the others.

The Bow Str relates to the Str needed to pull back the bow before you fire (the stronger you are the better the pull back = damage)

The crossbow on the other hand is like a gun..you only need to pull a lever to activate it and release the bolt (no STR needed) and placing the bolt needs no more Str then holding a dagger.

That is why Bow Str won't work with Crossbows.

    EDIT

    ..But

In respect of an Arcane Archer enchanting the bolt on release..I don't see why not..after all

    1. you already get enchanted bolts in the game.

    2. The Arcane Spell "Flame Arrow" Enchants all projectiles with fire damage.

I mostly don't really care if its logical it was a "How effective" would this be if all the "Melee, longbow, etc.only" were removed (alot of the enhancements and stuff had things like this)...although I did mention that instead of bow strength we could make the xbow bigger but based on your strength mod thus making it bow strength AND making sense (also it makes sense that a mechanic could modify it)

That I do definitely agree with.

repeater users already get a version of bow strength. It is called Rogue Int bonus to dmg. As for AA and repeaters. If that was the case, all rogue mechanics would be elf. And no other race EVER.

    -Bunk

p.s. Failed: Im obviously in the corner that supports repeater users, but these 2 ideas are not happening. Long Live the Repeater Mechanic!

Lol yeah I know...im constantly posting in that thread...I was just bored and wanted to see how much i could push it by having BOTH AA and Mech as well as Bow Str...thus giving better abilties and Two damage stats...I mostly wanted to see if someone would guesstimate the DPS and compare it to others. It's not an actual suggestion. (although i wouldn't complain if they decided to stop making EVERYTHING every melee or long/shortbow only)

Hmm I just noticed I put this in suggestions...can a dev move this to the gen chat or something.

Everr ranger (and other classes) would reroll as some form of Kensai Heavy Repeater build and rely on Slayer Bolts 24/7.
