Cleric Paladin Multiclass?

I have a battle cleric that I want to multiclass. I have paid Fred to rearrange my feats such that I currently am attacking with a two handed great sword. I'm looking to multiclass into either fighter, barabian or paladin to get some more feats. I am about to level up to 17, to get my final spell level so on 18 i want to multiclass. My question is..... which class would be more benefical to my tanking healing character?

I have tried the pally splash several time to fair results. Working on the fighter cleric now it seems to work better.

First, I assume you are Lawful Good if you are contemplating Paladin. Personally I'd be looking more at a couple levels of Monk which will get you a whole bunch considering I'm sure your wisdom is pretty decent.

If you are looking to multiclass into something that will give you feat slots, your only options are monk and fighter. Monk would give you two feats, evasion, and a potentially meaningful AC at endgame. Fighter would give you two feats and some useful enhancements as well as all martial weapon proficiencies.

As a THF battle cleric, you probably have low DEX and moderate to low WIS, which make evasion and the monk's wisdom bonus to AC less attractive than they might otherwise be. You're also probably using PA and the THF feat chain, which synergize well with fighter feats/enhancements but don't have any particular synergy with monk unless you are for some reason eyeing q-staffs rather than greatswords. So while monk is a good splash option for some builds, and not a bad option here either, I'd probably recommend fighter for a build like yours.

Monk and Fighter are the two most common Cleric multiclass options, followed by Rogue and Paladin. Other combos are possible, but may take more planning and experience to run.

I have a THF Greatsword using 17 CLR/ 1 FTR/ 2 PAL (Saraphima on Argo)... she's got high base CHA for Divine Might and the Pally Bonus to saves, Human for Human Versatility and Healing Amp and she started with moderately high INT (for a Cleric) for skill points into UMD, Concent., Balance, Jump and Intim.
