I dont bother with ship buffs definately not for reaver but if the group is still forming and it looks like it will be awhile i will go and get ship buffs for other quests and raids. Then wait on the ship for group to fill then get navigator to send me there.

I dont make people wait for me.

although i like dem shipbuffs for epics and that kind of thing but i often get the feeling that peeps use them for an xcuse for other things when it takes 10 mins to get em.

You don't need effing ship buffs for Reaver.

You dont even need PEOPLE for reaver. They are only there each for another shot at raid loot.

But but but, I NEED my min maxed str score to stand in a corner for 95% of the raid. Check these pecs. /flex

Seriously- I was in a Reaver the other day and this guy took 10 minutes to get ship buffs. If it were my group, I'd have booted him, but no--- sat and waited for 10 mins. Then the guy gets to the door and "Oops... sorry guys! On Timer!"

You've got to be mother ****ing kidding me, right?

This is the leaders fault. Once the party is full, I always share the quest so I can check to see if anyone is on timer or not flagged.

It takes less than a minute to get a full ships worth of buffs if you skip the dummy; people are just using this as an excuse to ninja afk. We actually pulled the dummy from our ship. More trouble and wasted time than it's worth.

I've played with you enough to know what you're saying, but for the benefit of the no-fort, no-HP people who feel the need to get ship buffs out there....

Ship buffs will not help you, son.... get some HP and Fort!!!

This is not fun to heal- both screenies from recent Shrouds. The 38 death one I had to solo-heal on my melee Cleric.... no, the deaths were not from poor healing, the people were getting one-shotted.

Was running Monastery last night on normal. Milamberr (curse him) decided to invite pugs to make it less boring. LFM said something like "rune runs, in progress, no hand-holding, byoh". We had several candidates for hilarity that night, but 17 Bard was the best.

true...but you should make sure your fvs keeps everyone perma buffed with aid...

I need ship buffs for the extra cast and DC's of Icestorm in shroud

also MyDDO sux for checking out ppls gear, like when say I have to use a +6 cha helm and golden cartouche to cast a teleport scroll, so my Min2 HP helm and Veriks Necklace are not equiped (heavy fort and 105 hp gone).. just saying. myddo is so very WoW

Honestly - how can the game be fun if you are constantly being one-shotted? "Awesome quest, I spent the whole ride in your backpack!" If it was a piking strategy, thats one thing, but simply because? What else did the sorc spent his stat points on besides CHA? I just don't get it.

I know that--- my Bard just pulled a Renard's Elegant Hat a few days ago- I'm totally running around town with that on and not my Minos.... should show my Bard with 0% fort, but look at her other gear.

Hell, I just looked her up- without her Minos, without Rage and without her Scourge Choker, she's got 380HP--- if someone were to see my other gear and ask me what was up, I'd be happy to tell them that while fighting Harry, my HP is routinely ~460. It's the people with multiple STR items/level 2 gear in multi slots/etc. that I worry about.

I'm smart about it- if I see a Kormor's Belt/Haggle/Royal Guard Mask/Action Boost Neck/Archmagi Belt.... and the player has otherwise decent gear, I don't freak out.

Besides, if you pug just enough, you get to know some names. Looking them up consistently... they're wearing the same gear.
