There are two options for spell point regen when hit.

    torc (from Demonqueen)

    concordant opposition greensteel (from shroud)

how would one go about crafting an item like this?
or is it just a rare drop?

    Thx again.

It's done with shroud crafting for a con/opp item. Here is the ddowiki link for it.

    http://ddowiki.com/page/Concordant_Opposition

    And this:

    http://ddowiki.com/page/Torc_of_Prince_Rayium-de_II

These are definitely worth it for some SP regen.

The torq is a raid drop, the con opp is shroud crafted dual shard so ALOT of mats to craft. For the con opp most anyone dependant on an SP bar can take advantage of it, if they have room. I have it on goggles for my caster.

May I ask what ingredients are needed for a con op item? I am sure the TO would like to know that too. What would you suggest for a cleric – googles? I haven’t been to the shroud yet, but I want to spent my plat on ingredients form the ah as those don’t count on the plat limit and I want to know for what to ask when I trade my loot in the trade channel.

(Yes I have the plat/ loot to trade for some shroud stuff. I bought Necro4 and the minos shreds are highly sought after. And when I am going to buy the Shroud pack it would be nice to have some of the right ingredients already)

its highly doubtful that you will be able to purchase all the mats given the sheer cost involved, large scales alone cost several million gold.

check ddowiki if you want specifics, it has a pretty good explanation of how to craft just about anything

Here you can see what you can do with any greensteel: http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/~delalle...roud/index.php

Googles are a nice spot to craft concordant opposition if you don't melee, there aren't many named googles out there worth the spot on a caster

Please note that there are more ways to get SP back than just concordant opposition and transform kinetic energy. There's the archivist's necklace (I have it on every single character who has any SP at all), ring of spell storing, mysterious bauble and vile blasphemy. I think that's it, though...

Mana pots (random drop, AH, or DDO Store), rest shrines, Rest of the Eladrin Statuette from Small Eberron Dragonshard Fragment turnins or DDO Store, Shard Trinket of Mnemonic Enhancement from Medium Eberron Dragonshard Fragment turnins. Ethereal Rest Shrine from Large Eberron Dragonshard Fragment turnins or DDO Store.

Note that the turnins are BTC, but the Eberron Dragonshard Fragments aren't and can be purchased on the AH.

I have lots of small, two dozens of medium and even a view large ingredients already. I don’t expect to get all before getting to the shroud but some.

Thanks for the link to the planner and thanks a lot for the impressive detailed list bryanmeerkat 

Maybe the list should be kept to, let's call it renewable resources? I'm not going to farm Eberron Dragonshard Fragments or always have access to spellsong vigor, but everyone can run weapons shipment and will sooner or later get an SP clickie

I make Conc Opp items for all my casters except rangers and paladins......they are completely 100% worth it........you have to know how to use them tho........don't be afraid to take melee damage or they will be useless.

When it comes to spell regen, probably the best source of mana would have to be from a spellsinger II bard. While torc, conc opposistion and most things besides the mysterious bauble and epic spell storing ring is ok(The epic and bauble are awesome by the way) you will probably regenerate a lot more mana from spellsong vigor than from most anything else. At a full level 20 bard with capstone and max song length enhancements, the total duration for the song is 4 minutes and 48 seconds, and with SP being restored on a approximate value of 2 SP every 2 seconds, its about equal to taking a major mana pot with slighty above average restoration. Heck, if the bard constantly equips a Elyd Edge and only uses spellsong vigor, you practically have almost infinite SP regeneration.

Although keep in mind most bards will not do this, and they will often tend to use other songs like inspire courage as well as the spell heighten and spell trance songs as well. Still, its definately a song thats well worth it for the SP regen, and 2 or 3 of the same spell regen songs can regenerate a lot of mana (1344 mana if my estimate is correct) over time. Don't hesisitate to ask your friendly spellsinger for a SP regen, and if you'd like, mention to him if he runs low on songs, just use spellsong vigor only for mana songs.

Oh, and personally, due to the very low proc rate and the fact that I want to avoid being hit, I am not too much of a fan on torc or concordant opposition. If you are interested in making it, go for it, you might like it, as others have stated. But if you choose to skip it, well...your not missing out on much.

Are there any items outside of taverns that give spell point regen over time? items not spellsinger songs ect?
