Bread, eggs, sauteed in butter with powdered sugar and syrup. With a side of... bacon! Everything a growing barbarian needs.

Only if it's made with thick slices - nothing worse than a wimpy French Toast.
Although waffles have those unique syrup resourvoirs that ensure each bite includes the proper serving of syrup...
I don't want to choose - I want both!

Those little reservoirs also hold the butter.
Still, if I had to choose, I'd choose French Toast. It's the best thing the French have given us! LOL :P

sorry , but I have to disagree http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZDv9pgHp8Q@ 0:50 seconds its pure Waffle PWNAGE!
Waffles, especially Black Forest Waffles, rule.
When making your waffles, add a few tablespoons of Hot Chocolate powder into the batter. Then, take one cooked waffle and put about a quarter inch of Raspberry Jam on it. Put another waffle on top of it. Then add whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and shaved chocolate. Top with whipped butter and warm Raspberry Syrup. Serve with bacon, sausage, or both. Probably both is best.
Alternately, you could use your Waffles to make Waffle Pork Chop Sandwiches. Put a cooked boneless pork chop between two waffles, along with a smear of apple sauce. Top it with whipped butter and hot syrup. Hot, it's great for breakfast. Cold, it's a great lunch. I bring mine to work all the time and eat it in front of my Celiac friend

I am Canadian also (or Je Suis Canadien if you prefer) and yeah, he's probably Canadian as opposed to being a French citizen most likely but come on, ask any Canadian around you where they are from and they won't say Canada. That's what happens when you live in a nation of Immigrants (First Nations excepted, of course). My best friend at work just told me he's Irish, and he was born in Saskatchewan as were his parents.
