Default Does Human Improved Recovery affect Pale Master negative energy self-healing?

Does Human Improved Recovery affect Pale Master negative energy self-healing? The description of the enhancement doesn't mention anything about positive healing, so theoretically it would work.

Likewise, does Healing Amplification from items such as Levik's Bracers, Dragontouched Armor and Incredible Potential affect Pale Master negative energy self-healing?

From the wording of the abilities and items (and knowing the issues they had just getting PMs to be healed properly by their own aura) I'd venture a "no".

Though personally I cannot test or verify it on my own.

Healers Friend doesn't seem to impact PM healing.

I don't know if human amp does or not. Amp is not supposed to help, but that doesn't mean it's not bugged or something.

Healer's Friend specifically mentions positive energy healing effects: "You heal for 15% more any time you receive positive energy healing such as that from cure spells and cure potions."

Just telling ya what I know dude.

It's also not like DDO has ever had things mis-labeled or bugs of any sort...

    I doubt it.

A human with a Healing Amp 10%/20%/30% GS weapon would then be unkillable when in Death Aura and an Epic Robe of Shadow. That's probably why they changed the Pale Master ToD set from "receive 200% from Negative Energy" to "deal 60% damage with Negative Energy Spells".

Positive Healing Amplification does not work to any benefit or detriment when a Pale Master assumes an undead form. They are simply immune to positive energy.

Negative Energy Amplification does exist, but at the moment there are very few ways for a player character to have it, none of which can be used in standard questing (the room of Mabar in Prison of the Planes, Curse of Darkness in Player vs. Player). Pale Masters would also be cautioned against using a Belt of Thoughtful Remembrance, due to how it inhibits Negative Energy.

Also, a bit of side trivia, Kai-Teng in Litany of the Dead has 400% Negative Energy Amplification.

just a few days ago was running litany with pm... kai-teng received zero healing from aura. other mobs around him died normally as i killed him, so i know he was in the aura. thought it was strange indeed he wasnt healed by aura.

*nod* the "healing" of the aura only seems to affect PCs and pets. I've been surrounded by lots of skeletons and zombies and none of them received healing from my death aura.

If you want to have a lot of fun...go into litany with your cleric duo partner and as he tries to beat down Kai-Teng, just keep tossing Necrotic Blast at him

My friends and I have started having contests in undead populated quests to see if I can heal them faster than they can damage them.
