Burne Level 20 Human Paladin
Sarlona
I'd make them because they would be the only game in town. BUT they are still decidedly inferior to the good random loot boss beaters for other types of weapons. For example the +5 Anarchic Burst Silver Kopesh of pure good that my fighter will be using while waiting his turn to build his Greensteel. IMO if it is Epic Devouts, not just a better set of named boss beaters then it needs at leasts something more than an increase from the pathetic +2 to a +6...

Epic Axe of Adaxus
Battle Axe
Damage: 2d10+6 Slash, Adamantine, Silver, Magic
Critical Roll: 19-20 / x4
Legends speak of the first fire giant, Adaxus, whose fiendish alliances led to the formation of the Sul'at League. Although the knowledge and wisdom of these giants was lost in the cataclysm that destroyed Xen'drick, the once powerful leader's axe apparently was not.
+6 Enhancement Bonus: yadda yadda yadda
Fire Giant Strength: The item grants a +4 Exceptional Strength Bonus that stacks with all other bonuses except Exceptional Strength +4
Superior Fire Resistance: This property absorbs the first 40 points of fire damage per attack that the wearer would normally take
Vorpal: yadda yadda yadda
Fire Shield: Caster Level 15, (5/day, Recharged/Day: 5)
Impressive Heft: The larger size of this weapon is such that when wielded by a dwarf, it is treated as though the bearer was wielding a Dwarven War Axe, also increasing it's damage to 3d8+6.
