Default Introduce more (paid) Racial PrE's

Currently, only the Arcane Archer PrE is available as a racial PrE in the game, while at the same time, it is available as the Ranger class PrE.

Now, let us consider giving Half-orcs Frenzied Berserker as Half Orc's racial PrE. The Half-orc, be it monk, sorc, rogue, or any multi-classed build, only needs to meet the requirement for Frenzied Berserker, such as Cleave, Power Attack, Orcish Power Attack I.. etc. Obviously, this racial PrE will not stack with barbarian Frenzied Berserker. This will be very similar to Elven Arcane Archer and Ranger Arcane Archer.

Here comes the part that gives incentive for Turbine to do this. The barbarian class, of any race, can take Frenzied Berserker for free. There is absolutely no change for existing barbarians. For Half-orcs, the player must buy this PrE from the DDO store in order to take it. This is no different than buying races/classes from the DDO store.

Should Turbine see this racial-based PrE's been a success, they can release more racial based PrE's. Some ideas to throw around: Ninja Spy for halflings, Stalwart Defender for Dwarves, Kensai for Human, Pale Master for drow, etc.

Remember DDO was voted the most "innovative" MMO in the last decade. If anything we can do to maintain that title, we need to give Turbine suggestions that will benefit not only the players, but also Turbine financially. We need these kind of innovative contents to keep DDO competitive.

    Once again Boooo!
How many of these threads do you have to spawn?

In your previous one there was not a single reply that was in favor of your idea.
Do us all a favor and just stop.

Are you a shill for Turbine?

Why have you turned off your rep?

Did you start yet another thread about this to get even more people to voice their utmost dislike for this horrible idea?

Next thing we see is: Clerics can cast their spells as always but now every other class can purchase the ability to cast up to level 9 divine spells in the DDO store?
Fear not, brave players of DDO, for from now on, every class can purchase the ability to disable traps for a nominal TP fee.

The racial PRE's have been announced quite a while ago btw.

Is there some sort of award for most negative reputation? Seems to be an outbreak of these types of suggestions recently. Now someone please post the double face palm pictures ...

I would also like to see things for Warforged.

I mean, elves get to go like 18ftr,1bard,1barb (like my guildy) and get Slayer Arrows and be an AA?

They don't have a single level of ranger in them!

If they can do stuff like that, I'd like something special for having purchased Warforged.

Oh cool. When? That'll make the change to Horc possibly unnecessary.

See if you had earned it you would have the side effect gained a lot of useful experience and knowledge of the game.

And for your sig....its not broken.....it works....that is why your at -3800 something....it just has no effect which is the problem. Once long ago it was stated by the Mods that neg rep like that prevented your posts from showing up. Thus a way for the community to police itself. Obviously that is not how it works, as you have proven....get all the neg rep and still post post post. Interesting but the actual rep part works...its the lack of effect that is broken.

The OP's suggestion actually makes me feel physically ill. The fact that he/she made more than one thread to promote the same terrible idea is absolutely terrible. Worst idea I've ever heard.

Paying for cosmetic items and similiar fluff is a smart decision for Turbine. Not something I'll spend... much on, but I totally agree with giving the players the option.
Paying for potions and items seems silly, but I guess if people want to donate their money to Turbine so they can continue to produce an awesome game than all the power to you!
Paying for (certain!) races, classes and adventure packs allows people to choose how much content they want to have access to, and pay a manageable amount for them to do so. Great system.
Paying for anything that impacts playability (Yeah, I guess you could argue not owning adventure packs detracts from gameplay, yadda yadda) like feats, skills or enhancements is just absurd.

This thread couldn't possibly have any more fail if it chartered a seat on a failboat about to set fail on the Strait of Fail, with a thousand failors at the helm ready to steer it down the drain located therein.

In other words: No. Your idea is bad, and you should feel bad for having it.

If anything, your suggestion should be tossed into the nearest trash bin. Having to spend TP for things like PrE's is absolutely and insipidly stupid. Getting to use a PrE is just cause for having access to the Class/Race it is derived from. If you could pay TP to get the Class/Race or just earn it through Favor is one thing, but having them make us pay for their otherwise free-once-purchased-via-Race/Class PrE's is just leaning towards making it pure greedy capitalism at its' worst.

Your friend didn't have to pay anything to get Elf, unless they bought the game before it went F2P. Remember, AA is also an Elf PrE as well. I have a Rogue/Bard that is part AA because he's entirely too squishy to keep in melee all the time.

I am wonderiing if all these spate of stupid suggestions to pay for stuff that was always in the pipeline is actually a secret Turbine conspiricacy to see what the response is to ever more ridiculous ideas for stuff to pay for .

    a. Those Elves/players know the game and how it works.
    b. What unique abilities that WF have that other races don't? Isn't THAT something special for having purchased WF?

Lack of basic game knowledge not with standing, the Wiki is your friend and invaluable tool for gaining knowledge.

I would suggest reading over it. Ok, maybe not the whole thing, but I would pay close attention to those area's that deal with your Race and Class. If there is a suggestion to be made, by anyone, I would further suggest at least familiarize yourself with the topic before making any suggestions.
