Pricing out a Greater Heart of wood

AH says 900k-2 million plat but i dont know if they ever actually sell for that price.

Bought +3 Greater Heart of Wood and + 3 Lesser Heart of Wood for 1 Mil Plat...(each)

Greater or Lesser they go about same price. Which compared to Red Scale is reasonable. I feel GHOW and LHOW's are worth more than Red Scales.

i bought 2.
first for 1 million plat (a +3 greater)
second at AH for 600k plat (+1 greater).

So really the current AH is pretty inflated and i would say the real range for a HoW should be 600k-1.2mil plat.

Seems reasonable to me. If i could sell those dragon scales i would be able to combine my money for a GHoW.

I'm up to 400k right now and trying to sell 6 scales which should get me into the 760 range at the very least.

If a BS or another flawless red drops i could be there.

I know everyone has different issues with how they can or can't get TPs to use on stuff like this.

However, having to save and scimp to get enough to pay for something like this that will wipe that savings back out in one swell foop...

I can't see much of a bigger reason to find some way to throw some $ into TPs. Will be anniversary sales coming up pretty soon making them 1/2 price, and probably another bonus TPs promotion. Then you'd have your new ungimped char as well as being waist deep in plat.

Plat is easy to gain and has a very much unlimited source, TP / real money do not.

I may be shutting off my internet connection and tv service soon to pay the bills. Real money goes to them.
