    Default Bad lag Sarlona?

Tower of Despair end fight: roughly 3 seconds delay on intimidates going off. Heals frequently did even longer. Melees froze and stuttered when trying to move. It was atrocious.

I seen laggy before (and usually am no one who complains) but this was probably the worst case I have seen and unlike other times it did not clear up - felt like the whole instance was out of sync with several seconds delay. As said, it affected the entire raid group (12 players connecting from different regions in the US) so doubt it was connection or client side.

Now, please don't get me wrong - it's less me ranting and complaining but meaning to ask anyone else experiencing this in ToD or other raids (ie: something broke) or was it just a fluke with some really bad luck with getting into a really bad lag/screwed up instance?

Not just raids...quests also. The lag the last Id say 2 weeks has been getting progressively worse and worse.

It's been more than just the last two weeks, it's just gotten progressively (significantly) worse in the last two weeks. I don't notice it on other servers, though... Orien has been smooth as silk, and Gallanda has been showing me much love over all.

Now, maybe I'm just not logged into those servers during their horrific-awful-scary lag moments, but I can't be the only one who has alts on multiple servers.

It progresses with time and number of people in the instance.

If I solo I feel a slight lag, which is annoying but not game breaking.
    With 2-3 players pots/clickies sometimes won't work.
With 6 toons hits start not registering.
Yeah, and raids are really bad.

It's like the server is slowly dying.

And no, it's not my rig or connection, both are able to handle many times more demanding programs.

    Morning Baer...

Prior to your run ran one myself.

Part 1: LOTS of rubberbanding when the party was tossed about.

Part 2: Expected lag/wipe due to lag but none was to be found.

Part 3: Started off fine, but just got so bad, we HAD to Ddoor and call it.

Several seconds of no melee hits registering, Spells not going off or landing - or IF they landed, effect took place 4-6s after casting. Swapping weapons would take a handful of seconds as well.

TBH, been some time since I have experienced lag like this - little concerning after maintenance.

It's totally true, I have a reliable source. You better reroll now.

I've been having the same, even failed a shroud last night because of it. 2 healers (one of which was me) spamming at least 4-5 mass heals and cures each of which only one made it through the lag-monster after about 10 seconds, which was to late unfortunately.. Shroud after that, same thing except now i expected it and frantically smashed every button that matches a white/red icon on my bars, guess that worked :s

I've been having the same problems as well but honestly was expecting to see 4 or 5 of the 'l2p and get a real rig' posts here. You know it's bad when the system snobs don't even bother showing up.

    Default Pando caused my lag

My son talked me into downloading LOTRO a couple of weeks ago. I started having much more rubberbanding lag immediately after this. One of the programs that loaded at that time was Pando Media Booster or somesuch. Once I removed Pando, my rubberbanding lag was eliminated.

Especially bad tonight (Wed. 12 Jan). Helping someone flag for Titan, and would have the "stop go" freezing and 3-5 second spell cast delays for a significant portion of Slavers of the Shrieking Mine. People in widely varied geographical and network areas all experienced the lag, so it wasn't with any one person's PC/connection or with any one ISP's transit.
