Mr. Haze is a man of vision, he knows that one day they'll get myddo to start updating again, and that day he'll be out pimping his stats on vale rats before logging off. He'll be able to get into ALL the raids!

    Default why

most ppl i've seen use / want one have been casters. good chuck of HP and the rage / exhaust doesn't effect them as much, i guess.

Does the rage proc from a scourge choker disable casting?

No, but it works similar to barb rage where you get slowed down etc when it goes away. Its my understanding that this effect cannot be removed by any means (resto pots, scrolls, spells etc). In this way, it kind of stinks for melee unless in a boss fight where you take constant dmg to keep the proc up.

As far as I know the rage and exhaust effect does not inhibit casting at all, making it ideal for casters to wear to gain a relative huge increase in hp for no drawback.

Note I've never ever played a caster - this is just the feedback I got in the monk forum when I asked why no one wore this as a monk a while back.

Yeah like Wytina said, the exhaust effect is special, you can't dispell it and it works on wf, so it's pretty useless on a melee damage dealer. I got one on my pally and I keep trying to use it every now and then, but the only boss who can keep it up is Lailat, and you'll be piking the efreets once she goes away... It's only really worth it for a caster without a torc or as a swappable, or on an intimitank I guess.
