I figured this was the best place for this. I was wondering if there was a way to add a command to the target line of the ddo shorcut to automatically input my password for me. I remember in Guild Wars you could add a command like -password <password here> to the target line and it would automatically type in your password and hit return for you. For people wondering what I mean about "target line", right click on ddo shortcut, click properties. The target line tells the shortcut what file to open when you click it.

I realize that it takes next to no time to enter your password, but I have been referred to as "lazy" by people before.

Unlike Guild wars you are initially running the launcher program which then calls the client after authenticating.

Switches are not used - the LauncherUserSettings.xml file is where your username is stored but there is no section for password and manually inputting <Password> code lines were not accepted by the launcher either.

This is probably by design to protect you from anyone obtaining access to all your game account details especially for the players who use public/shared PCs.
