I didnt have anything at stake, so I cant continue to argue. I am from Wisconsin so the shame (absolute crushing shame) of the Rose Bowl was the last game I cared about.

I understand why the call was technically correct, but my point is that having a National Title game start to end on that sort of note just blew the wind out of it all for me. We were watching and cheering for 3+ hours to have a fluke like that (weirdest play I have viewed in a long time) ruin it.

So on that note, and I digress and recind. u win so did auburn.

Now try to say Cam Newton 1000 times in 10 minutes and cut out the bands during half time to restate the obvious and play **** commercials.

what about that field though? did they make it a slip-and slide or what?

seems like that put lube on the whole field.....

Well in 3 years or so Cam Newton will probably be ruled ineligible and Auburn will be forced to forfeit all games in which he played, thus giving Oregon the very unsatisfactory off the field win.

    I wouldn't be so sure.

The NCAA forced USC to vacate it's championship and, rather than award it to the team that finished second in the polls, left it vacant.

    The team that finished #2?

    Auburn.
