Well I'm done with DDO. After nearly 30 some odd days shy of 5 years playing, I've hit the wall. I kept asking myself is it worth the 15 bucks a month? No not really. I've messed around with LOTRO and after playing that for a few days I saw what DDO should have been. I like wide open areas and DDO has us just boxed in. I'm not going to LOTRO to be sure. I hate the combat system. I'm going back to playing console games like COD Black Ops. Think consoles have caught up with pcs enuff that online is great for shooters that I really loved. Anyhoo if any of my friends play COD Black ops, my tag is Clutchman75. Well cya when the cows come home.

I just came from COD back to DDO!

MW2 and BO were great, but eventually with all the hours I was spending grinding out prestige and pro perks, I realised I may as well be playing an MMO again and have something to show for it at the end.

Have fun though - for PC gamers I highly recommend XIM2 for playing keyboard and mouse on Xbox or PS3. Very expensive but awesome.

Yes it's been awhile since I ran with you too. Last time was a Epic Dragon a few months ago I think.

When you ar ready to come back, wait for a sale on Turbine Points, and buy some, and get your f2P account rolling.

Once you have your F2P account set up modestly, just buy points when on sale, and spend points when those items are on sale, and youll never be a $12-$15 "battery" for Turbine again.

You'll live off the grid like the rest of us.
