I have ran with Dispel in several quests. Never had a problem, he was always cool and competent. So he likes PvP, a lot, well that's his deal. Some of us don't, but then everyone is entitled to enjoy something.

Recent nerf threads he has started included Drow SR, Slayer Arrows, and I believe one about a certain type of Ioun Stone. His threads seem to indicate he wants the game changed to balance PVP at the expense of PVE. That tends to draw a certain amount of "hate" on a forum where I am going to guess about 95% of the players DO NOT LIKE PVP at all.

That being said, I have never grouped with him but certainly would not pass up the chance. His love of PVP has nothing to do with completing a quest.

as a fan of these drama threads, i would have to say that this one does not deliver. lack of accusations in the OP, lack of story telling, lack of raid loot being involved, and lack of insults.

im going to give it a 3/10. i probably wouldnt read again, but maybe on long flight or something.

No, it stems from him baiting people and reporting them for things taken out of context.

That said, I don't even hate him or dislike him. I could honestly care less. If he hits one of my LFMs, he'll get treated just like every other pugger - first come, first serve, unless a guildy or guildish person has reserved it. Last time I ran with him he was FAR less than adequate, but that was some time ago. I'm sure he's improved.

But until he stops reporting people for every little thing they say that he doesn't like, he is never going to be added to my 'super happy fun time' list. Less whining and telling my guildmates they're sinners. We are, it's true - but it just lacks style, man.

I squelched him a log time ago due to his desire to spam gem chat with pvp convos. Not really his fault. Brawling areas should have a seperate chat IMO. So I haven't had any issues. I do get a kick out of his reporting antics, but I hear about them through third parties so I take it with a grain of salt

I've grouped with him before - And I can honestly say he did abosolutely nothing that would keep me from grouping with him again. Same with a few others that people love to hate. A bad reputation can stem from a gaming preference such as PvP. He's opinionated, so what? He has every right to post a thread and speak his mind, same as everyone else. And you know what? Whatever's said on the forums has absolutely no impact on completion of quests and raids, no matter what it is. In my opinion, as long as one doesn't grief others or go out of their way to ruin another's gaming fun, and works towards the common goal of the completion, they're more than welcome in my party.

Oh I don't hate Dispel, in fact I liked him until he threw a temper tantrum over me being friends with who I want to be friends with.

I'm also someone who doesn't play games, I'm straight to the point and unfortunately Dispel is too immature and crybabyish for me.
