The only thing I dislike is the spam of PvP arguments in harbour general chat. I feel it sets a bad impression of the game to many newer players, and like it or not, the game needs a constant influx of new players to keep afloat.

Aside from that, every time I've grouped with him, he's been a competent and effective player. Especially in the brutal elite Crucible favour run.

No, it stems from him baiting people and reporting them for things taken out of context.

That said, I don't even hate him or dislike him. I could honestly care less. If he hits one of my LFMs, he'll get treated just like every other pugger - first come, first serve, unless a guildy or guildish person has reserved it. Last time I ran with him he was FAR less than adequate, but that was some time ago. I'm sure he's improved.

But until he stops reporting people for every little thing they say that he doesn't like, he is never going to be added to my 'super happy fun time' list. Less whining and telling my guildmates they're sinners. We are, it's true - but it just lacks style, man.

His forum posting on the other hand.... that's just play time.

Just to add my "me too" - I don't mind the fact that he likes PvP.

I dislike the fact that he wants Turbine to change the game every time he loses a fight in the pits.

I dislike the fact that he goes out of his way to bait people and then report them.

I dislike the fact that he wants to unbalance the PvE game in order to make the PvP game suit his needs better (and he doesn't even want to balance the PvP game in the process).

U know me well enough Kehg I hate most every1 so ill group with anyone, I havent seem him do anything in a group that was bad aside from the occasional sergod like tantrums ive seen him throw but... owell Ill group with him when the occasion happens as i will with anyone but Iiiiiiiiiron, but I wont seek it out. I don't mind that he PvP's I was a huge PvP person in the past.


My position is the exact same as Quiks when it comes to his 'reporting' what I've heard is deplorable... but it's just heresay most the time not even third part but 6th or 7th.

Well.... I'm not on your server, but if I was, I'd be inclined to avoid him as well.

I don't agree with the viewpoint that what people do and say on the forums shouldn't have an effect on their interactions in game.

This thread is an attempt to help a friend...my early days were as a WF/Ranger...THE most hated combo in the game at the time...combine that with me blowing my top when people did idiotic things during my quests...well you can just say I bore the title of most hated, got all the you'll never get groups with that attitude, fought ALL the time against ALL the big forum clowns...guess what...however many years later...im still here, none of it "killed" my ability to group, enjoy the game, etc...my point for the people I know and that group with me...is if you can handle me...ME...come on...lets just not repeat the past...kill the bs hate and group with you...

I agree with your premise, but not your conclusion.

It *IS* possible to group with obnoxious people and it is possible for obnoxious people to find groups. That does not mean that everyone else on the server should buy H4x a beer and shake his hand every time he does something obnoxious.

I really don't see any "bs hate" against him or against you. I do see people object to his offensive behavior and I do see people ridicule him when he does something ridiculous.

I don't find that at all unreasonable.

I've grouped with him before - And I can honestly say he did abosolutely nothing that would keep me from grouping with him again. Same with a few others that people love to hate. A bad reputation can stem from a gaming preference such as PvP. He's opinionated, so what? Opinionated is one thing, whining about every last aspect of the game is ridiculous,. If he wants to change the game that much then maybe it is time for him to check priorities and maybe go play another game. He has every right to post a thread and speak his mind, same as everyone else. And you know what? Whatever's said on the forums has absolutely no impact on completion of quests and raids, no matter what it is. In my opinion, as long as one doesn't grief others or go out of their way to ruin another's gaming fun As I have become aware of in several instances he has., and works towards the common goal of the completion, they're more than welcome in my party.
