I hate them I does. Why? Because it just slows everything down. I primarily play in a static group, and I guess we have one but I don't think we use it to be honest. On another toon I was pugging some vale quests, and after every single one everyone else had to go get every **** buff they could find. Usually they would end up dying on the way to the quest and then go re-buff. Maddenning as hell. I understand the xp shrine for TRs...maybe...but other than that do you really need that +1 to spell DCs Mr. HOrc Barb? They're just grabbing every buff they can find! Hilarious, sad and frustrating.

eh, I mooch tier3 altars & xp shrines.... my 2.5 person guild (my son is to young and seldom on so doesn't really count as a 3rd) is trundling along just fine and we will have all the niceties at some point and time.... but not today.

I don't feel guilty about asking someone I know if I can get an invite when they have time. I don't ever mind bringing someone I know on my little ship, nor do I mind if they need/want to bring a friend. I don't mind blind asks if very polite or if they know a friend of a friend. I don't care who you are if you are an ***hat I tell you to sod off.

But I don't see the big deal about it all the way around

I don't mind joining when I see a LFM asking for an invite when I'm not busy. My guild has all 3 Shroud altars.

It's gotten where I've had to wait for my Tickets to be Resolved before I can Report another (there were four on at the same time, a couple days ago). No biggie (they'll learn eventually).

if these ppl who harrass had a clue they would join an LFM that had some one in the group with high lvl guild tht has alter on it ask for ship buffs and while there on the ship craft there stuff get buffed and run the quest. im helping them and they helping me it all works out =) i do it all the time and they dont complain cuz im not just mooching im running a quest with that guild member. as for putting up lfm for invite i dont se anything wrong with it i see it as an opprotunity to make plat tell them it costs plat for them to use the crafting alters and you can put that plat to help pay for all the shrines of just fill your pockets =) i know as soon as my guild gets the tier 3 alter im gonna start charging for it

I recently found out that a friends guild and guild members were getting harassed because of their guilds policy regarding outsiders using their ship altars. I find this harassment reprehensible. From now on when I see your LFM for "Need ship invite to airship with a tier III altar" I am reporting you. There is a way you can access ship altars all the time. It involves you getting into a guild that has them.

I think it is a bit overreaction...

Yes I think that sending tell to every possible high level guild member should be reported, or at least guy is easy for whole guild to squelch.
I think it is realy inapropriate to send tell people that not know you while they are in group/looking for a member/ or inside a dungeon.

But I don't have troubles with LFM "need invite for tier III altar" i just ignore them (becuse i didn't had any altar on ship). And probably gona be ignoring them (even when we got invasion and devastation altars now), because guildie that used his own TP (and we farmed quat a bit favor for a last few days -> You know these Wrath of Flame runs were our work :-P) for altars says it should be restricted i do not opose.

The only thing annoying about crafting in Shroud is that I always have finite equipment slots, and geting all loot and crafting afterwards can be troublesome. So when I did my last GS tier III crafting I didn't loot before completion, to have inventory slots for crafting ;-P.

I have used the LFM to ask for an invitation to use a high level guild ship, but I usually include a donation to pay for the alter (more than enough for an entire month). I don't expect to use something that I didn't earn, that's why I'm willing to pay to use it.

I NEVER send blind tells, that's just rude and annoying.

If I see an LFM requesting ship access for altars while I'm in between runs, I have no problem joining them, inviting them, then dropping group to allow a craft, but spam me with tells, in quest or no, leads to /squelch.

Hmm. Didn't know this was a problem; my guild's been thinking of getting the altars when we upgrade the ship, but right now don't have any.

Maybe charge 2LDS/4larges, 8meds, or 12 small mats for coming onto the ship? How many would take that deal?
