That's actually pretty polite compared to stuff I seen, which ranged from anywhere of basically being called a "fascist" to threats of being blacklisted from any raids/quests of <insert guild(s)>.
Don't worry, stuff like this is not limited to Khyber only. It seems you get it on any and every server these days.
Also, +1 to you Stainer for bringing this up.
Characters on Sarlona: Ungnad (Morninglord, Wizard 17 / Favored Soul 2 / Fighter 1) -- Baerktghar (Dwarf, Paladin 18 / Fighter 2) -- Simulacruhm (Bladeforged, Artificer 16 / Paladin 3 / Wizard 1)
No matter what side of the argument you are on, you always find people on your side that you wish were on the other.

Using the LFM panel for anything other than grouping is a TOS violation according to the devs in the past.
And going through every guild member we have an sending us tells, including those in quests (and yes this does happen) then yeah that is guild harrassment in my opinion. It disrupts gameplay and can even cause deaths due to the destraction during questing.
Different server ... same sentiment.
Our ship doesn't have the altar but every time I see one of those LFMs I have an urge to report it. They annoy me. Our guild has FOUR FREAKING PEOPLE and are about to hit 40 for our altar. FOUR PEOPLE.
You know what we do in the meantime? We run the Shroud. Crazytalk.
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane
Here's my take on it.
I have my own guild, 2 people in it, me and my soon to be wife.
I have been running around on my lvl 16 TR with a greensteel longsword blank in one hand (got sick of farming for scales before TR). I have some friends that are in a guild that has all of the altars. I have the ingredients to upgrade my sword.
If I wanted to, I could ask my friend to let me on their ship, provided that he is not busy. I run with just a couple of people from that guild besides a couple of friends, but not every day.
I'd rather just wait and go into a shroud to do my crafting AFTER THE QUEST IS FINISHED (so I don't hold anyone up and can take my time), rather than hit my friend up with a tell saying "can I use your ship for crafting?" I have capped several toons without greensteel and I figure I can do it again. I'll get it when the time is right, not worth making a friend feel like I am using them just to make a stupid weapon.
I am glad someone finally posted on this. I find it in very bad taste to be putting up LFMs and sending tells to get ship access to craft. If you want that guilds benefit why don't you just join the guild. They are the ones who ground out the renown to get the benefit, why should you be entitled to just use it whenever you want? My guild of six is only guild level 34 so I haven't experienced it yet but I feel it would be very very annoying. Just craft in the shroud like everyone else did/does for the last two years.
My real forum Join date is July 2007. Maybe one day someone will develop the awsome technology to fix this currently unfixable bug.
Hmm, this may be one of the times where our (ER's) reputation for being a bunch of elitist ******** is working out well. Nobody bothers us to use our altars.

You run in circles where most people have their own...
Shroud and savarath altars are fine for everyone, 'cept the lazy sob's who bother not to contribute to their bloody guilds - shall they want an altar they should work for an altar.
Airships actually tick me off ... drive me bloody crazy with both management of it and personel. As if guild management was bloody annoying to begin with. That 'sides bloody people need to get a grip... Start fillin' groups and as the last one joins people are all off gettin' ship buffed or what not, What was bloody f& wrong with doing so before I stepped into the quest? If you really “need 'em” quite possibly do not “need you” in this group. We wish the quest over with already, “get it?”
Trust I helped correct their error in ways.A bit of positive mojo sent. What's funny is my views on the mater poise so much controversy this post breaks even.
