i'm afraid, not that much. a plain holy burst outperforms this one with silver/cold iron bolts.

metalline is meh on ranged weapons (unlike on melee weapons)...

Not as much as you might think. I'd very much prefer to have a +5 Holy of Pure Good ranged weapon because you can get various metal type ammunition with House D favor (and House D favor is pretty easy to get).

That's also why Mineral II melee weapons are so appealing to many players while Lightning II bows just flat out better than a Mineral II bow.
