    Default Ranger Outfits

Anyone find a good looking outdoor outfit suitable for a classic ranger? More of an adventurer look - leather leggings, shirt, vest and maybe even a quiver!

All the outfits I find are more monkish. Too bad you can't preview or toggle any outfit thru the different looks. Probably something else they could set up to drain turbine points.

Best I've found so far, appearance-wise, is a green and brown suit of studded leather. Looks great, but it caps my Dex mod, so now it's banked in hopes of an armor appearance system like in LOTRO.

Indeed *all* outfits are monk style. (if you find one that isn't pls tell us to use it)

Someone must have tought all classes that can use light armor will do so.
As such there's a general lack of clothing for rogues, assasins, bards, rangers and archers.

Vulkoorim Fighting Leathers kind of meet your idea.
Pants, shirt, backpack, and bandoleer of throwing daggers. Unfortunately it is leather armor.

There is a lot of variation in the armors, some of the skins are difficult to find while others seem to be crazy common. There is a site that was cataloging them: http://ddofashionshowcase.homestead.com/
Looks like it has fallen out of being updated.

The things named "outfit" were released with monks, so they have a slant towards that concept.

    At least it's upgradeable.

Mine looks like I skinned a lion, and then stuck bird feathers(4) around the neck I would post a pic but then no one would ever invite me to a group.

I have found a couple padded leather armors that looked very appropriate for a ranger but as with another poster, it capped my dex so I went with DT armor.

I really like the Snakeskin Vest as well.

    An Offering of Blood (Sands)

EDIT: I don't think it's BtA, so you can also buy it off AH.

They'd better make an armor customization kit that grants something like that. I hate the look of my Icy Raiments. And I'd pay them for it despite the fact that they've given us a radically subpar armor customization system only a mentally diseased moron would dream up. Hey, at least they gave us *something*.
