    Default Fortification

    I'm seeing some serious issues with fortification. Well not fortification in general but heavy fortification. There is no excuse for someone wearing it in pvp. It's completely unfair, as are spell on hit or spell when hit items. So far the only way to get a fair from that I've seen is both sides removing all their gear except their weapon! I'm not requesting pvp gear as much as I'm requesting some items not be allowed in pvp areas. PvP gear would only be weaker than PvE gear so no one would wear it lol.

    Gear should only offer the user: AC, saves, abilities, ab, and so forth. I can only look at this from a rogues point of view however so I have no idea if monks or mages have a hard time with the same problem. Fortification is whats forcing so many people to make str based characters. Now you have all these ******** half-orc str based rogues running around banging their head against traps. Am I the only one that sees the terrible issue at hand!?

    Ok, now say the part that they can't use slayer arrows either.

    Oh...or stones that block spells until you get one.

    I probably should have added. Please acknowledge I'm talking not just removing heavy fortification but weapons that would be unfair if you didn't have fortification as well. That's why I said on hits and when hit affects on gear. Those would have to go as well as far as pvp is concerned. If you want a fair combat these things need to go. I understand their importances in pve, trust me I do.

    Many people shut out people that talk about how unfair gear is as far as pvp is concerned. You can have two people with good gear with no fortification on fighting it out and it would be completely fair! If both of them had the same skill, hell they might just kill each other every other time. If they had the same amount of skill. The gear on the other hand can remove a classes strength that your fighting. *For example*: If you have a dex based rogue vs a str barbarian... and the barbarian has heavy fortification. There's no way that rogue can win. In fact I'm willing to say that rogue might just get 10 free shots and still lose! The rogues sneak attack is completely useless! Oh well rogues have a few skills that allow a small bit to dip in through that fortification but its not near enough.

    And as I said before I really don't see anything wrong with the max fortification being reduced to 50% instead! 100% fortification forces to many classes to go str based just to attempt to be affective.

    About the stones that block spells, I've heard of those on this game but to think someone would use that in pvp sounds completely unfair but that's off topic here. It has nothing to do with fortification.
