    Default So curious conundrum

I started doing a ranger/rog AA Combo for the hell of it, coming up to level 10 now and finding it where dipping a last level into rog for UMD would be wasted as in giving abilities. So am opening up towards the world wide DDO community

What do you think would make a interesting lvel 20 class pick in terms of abilities. My trap skills are already maxed per level, ive fiddled with and thought maybe Bard may be to go with all the small little added bonsus of songs, or maybe fighter for some random feat.

Toss your ideas to me, just curious .

I am curious what your current Level split and Race is.

Minimum level 6 Ranger I assume, and perhaps Elf/Half-Elf so you can multiclass and still get all the Arcane Archer abilities eventually. Possibly not though, you could be at 9 Ranger/ 1 Rogue of any Race, and planning on 18 Ranger/1 Rogue/ 1 ?

I think if going 18 Ranger/1 Rogue, then Barbarian would make sense for the Runspeed, Fighter for a Feat.
Otherwise you may want to consider 6 Ranger/2 Rogue/12 Fighter or something similar.
    Or even 12 Ranger/ 7 Rogue/1 Fighter or Barbarian.

Edit: If taking large number of Fighter levels it would be difficult to keep your Trapskills maxed along the way to level 20.

Monk: AC/saves ... usually the best pick (can use that 1 extra feat to take zen archery to get +2 stacking strength or dexterity)

Fighter: Fighter toughness, free feat, etc.

Barbarian: Barbarian toughness, 10% run speed, +2 damage (with rage) for manyshot 1/day. Extra barbarian run speed is handy if you like kiting.

Monk is definitely the best choice (but sounds like you'd need an alignment change - 400 TP (or 200 on 50% sale).

18/1/1 with rogue and monk is the Exploiter build, which is pretty successful. I'm not sure if waiting until level 20 to do your third class makes sense though. Maybe it would be better to just go ranger the rest of the way.
