    Default Build check

I noticed that an earlier build I tried on my rogue was a waste, this time I'm trying it out on the boards before jumping off the airship...

Skills are meant to be roughly proportional to what they will be at 20. Tumble is likely to be left at 1, jump will be at least 10 (and added to early), and intimidate will be using points from the int tome.

    Areas I'm unsure of:
I usually don't have odd stat values like this. It looks like a place to save a +2 int tome and get by with a +1 tome. Or I could decide to use the +2 int tome allocated to this guy, move the point to wisdom, and buy a +1 wisdom tome. Decisions, decisions.

I know almost nothing about rogue bonus feats. This doesn't seem to be an issue as improved evasion and crippling strike appear mandatory, and the next one will be at level 13. Also I consider OTWF a wasted feat, I'm not sure what to put in there (skill focus: UMD?).

I also have to admit I'm tempted to drop strength down to 14. Those last two points are expensive, and 16 doesn't look nearly impressive enough to justify it. On the other hand, even spreading 6 points around int and wis probably isn't enough reason to lower the strength bonus by even one. I know my ranger (with an exploiter's wisdom) gets creamed by will saves: I'm wondering if I will ever be able to move without pumping up wisdom at the cost of strength (I suppose I could buy a few halfling luck bonuses as well, but those AP get mighty scarce).

I would take PA instead of oTWF.
    Thelanis: Nassim* (F12/P6/M2) - Talienor** (P18/Ra2) - Feithlin** (F12/Bd7/C1) - Stoneoak* (F12/M6/P2) - Hokusai (M17/F2/C1) - Ardence* (Bd15/F3/Ro2) - Matsushiro* (Ro11/M6/P3) | Argonessen: Luneargent (W18/Ro2) - Talienor (Ro20) - Takshir (Bd16/F2/Ro2) - Hiacynthe (C20) | Ghallanda: A bunch of pre DDO Unlimited characters (field of testing for post U19 )

ok, now building with PA. Still not happy about the +1 int tome.

Agreed with PA over OTWF (and lots of things over OTWF - the +2 hit becomes very small at level 20, for all builds).

I would build with a higher int, although I do tend to keep some stats odd since I'm cheap (ok poor) and generally can't afford +2s all around) (So I would probably make a halfling assassin with 15str and/or 15 con as well). Probably 11/12 INT at the very least. It will affect: DD/search, skill points, Assassinate DC (fairly important - I'm assuming this is an Assasin build?). I'd also take Opportunist earlier (13) and Improved Evasion at 10 (very very very handy). Improved Evasion and Opportunist are really the must have rogue bonus feats at this point, imo.
