    Default Favored Savior (Favored Soul16/Monk2/Paladin2)

    So this build isn't meant to be optimal or the best out there. Just something fun to try. Looking for constructive criticism and ways to possibly make this build better (i'm sure there are plenty). I went TWF even though won't have super high DPS. Thought about going THF but decided TWF would be more fun. More of a fun build to play, probably solo a lot. Meant to be a back up healer, will probably struggle as main with lack of sp and high level healing spells. Should be a fun experiment though. Once again, not meant to be optimal/maxed.

    Lots of the lower healing spells will get changed out as the levels go up and any buffs that are taken mass will replace the single versions. Also, OTWF should be traded in for Power Attack when felt necessary. Divine Power will help a lot for hitting things. Didn't really take many spells that would need to beat spell resistance or need a high DC seeing as wisdom will be fairly low. Will use +6 items in almost every slot, especially con and char. Just wanted to show the basics of the build for lots of input. Open to any suggestions. Thank you.

    Not sure whether you have half-elf available to you, but I'd consider half-elf and paladin dilettante. You could drop oversized TWF, and it'd save you 2 levels of paladin, getting you level 9 spells (mass heal).

    Also, I'd recommend putting level-up stats in strength if you're going to be trying to melee (if you're not really going to be meleeing, Whirling Steel Strike and WF:Slashing are kinda wasted feats). You don't really need more than 19-20 charisma (a few above that helps as a buffer for stat damage but it's not really necessary).

    Finally, you could drop the longswords and go scims/raps, or drop the scims/raps and go khopesh if you're so inclined.

    If you're set on being a centered monk/fvs, then maybe consider taking 3 monk for aligning the heavens (25% sp discount will mitigate your low sp slightly).

    As I have been leveling this build I have decided to make some changes. Definitely put all the level up points into strength and since being centered doesn't really do too much for this build I am going to switch from Longswords to Khopeshes and get rid of Whirling Steel Strike and probably end up trading it in for improved crit and WF:Slash for empower heal. Just some changes that I found to be helpful while leveling.

    Since you won't have mass heal you might consider empower over empower healing. I believe empower should affect the damage of your BB along with all your masses.

    Might I suggest that you experiment with handwraps as well? At the very least they will be your best weapon against liches, skeletons and other DR/blunt opponents (clay golems etc) but can actually do similar DPS to khopeshes with comparable gear.

    Yeah, I just posted a build like that. Scimitars are better DPS than longswords; plus it gets lvl 9 spells & wings. That takes the sting out of capping the saves bonus at +5, IMHO.

    Unbongwah - I have half elf and everything available to me, but this isn't a 18 FvS/2 Monk build. I already have one of those. This is a 16 FvS/2 Monk/2 Paladin build.

    LordPiglet - The only difference between Empower Heal and Empower is just 5 spell points so I definitely agree with you that Empower would work. I think that I thought I already had Empower but I looked back and I don't so thanks for the advice.

    Wax - I use handwraps from time to time. Especially when I need bludgeoning to break DR. The fast attack speed is very nice and I keep a few different wraps handy in my inventory.
