Can you upgrade a Glaciation ring? I was under the impression that only weapons could be upgraded.

Unless this changed since July ice games. You can't add glaciation from scratch to an item like you can a weapon, but you can upgrade an item that already has some level on it. Originally Posted by Purgatory

Again I haven't actually upgraded any since "Festivult in July" mainly because I was hoping they would fix the text string bug so I don't have to write down each upgrade. But I'm lazy like that.
If it has changed then I suspect that's just a bug based on the text string error. Which sucks because I've been saving up motes to upgrade some of the stuff I didn't have enough motes for the last time.

went and checked just to make sure they didn't change it: This started out as a improved Glaciation I and upgraded to greater I just fine:
