Dwarven Defender PrE

So I heard that this PrE is slated for the next update, is that correct? Why hasn't there been much baseless speculation about it? When can we expect to see it?

Any hints from devs? (pretty please with a cherry on top?)

I know theirs a Sorc PRE havent heard about defenders.

Doing a bit of research, the d20 dwarven defender is pretty much exactly the same as the Stalwart Defender PrE.

This makes sense as it has been stated that Dwarven Defender PrE counts as a fighter PrE.

Except for the following:
Stalwart gets more strength from stance
Defender has Damage reduction all the time, not just with shield.
Defender has bonuses to saves vs traps
Defender has defense vs sneak attacks
Stalwart has increases to blocking DR and max dex bonus

And these as well (though it is unlikely that they will make an appearance due to being a computer game):
Defender moves less while in stance
Defender doesn't have bonuses to hate/intimidate

Points of interest will be:

Can a Dwarven Paladin be Dwarven Defender + Paladin PrE (DoS or another).

Will Dwarven Defender be designed to be superior to Stalwart Defender, different or both (Defender may have more defensive focus or be very similar, just better).

Will this open up the possibility for more classes to be tanks other than fighters/paladins (not that they aren't at the moment, it's just hard and gear intensive and often gimpy).
Examples: barbarian, cleric, monk tanks with the last 2 being very interesting to me (Shintao Dwarven Defender or Radiant Servant Dwarven Defender).

My hope is that Dwarven Defender will be functionally identical to Stalwart Defender (just as elven AA == ranger AA) and can be combined with other PrEs. Thus you could have, say, a dwarf paladin DD / KotC III - tanking and DPS FTW! - or a dwarven cleric DD / Radiant Servant (spells w/a side of Intimitanking, maybe even non-sucky AC).

But unless & until DD shows up on Lamannia, it remains merely a pipe dream...

I hope there is some variation so that a tempest/DD or monk DD can still benefit from the inherent DR similar to d20 DD instead of SD DDO (have bonus blocking DR and inherent DR regardless of if a shield is equipped).

So if it counts as a fighter Pre then you couldnt make a Kensai DD right. The reason Im asking Is I plan to Tr my 18/2 tempest and want to go twf (have a plethera of d.axes) DD. If I cant go fighter I may go tempest DD or barb dd if the dr will stack. I wish the devs would give us some thing especially with ne epic d. axes

IF we get a Dwarven Defender racial PrE and IF it is functionally identical to Stalwart Defender the way elven AA matches ranger AA and won't let you take a separate ranger PrE (no elf AA Tempests for us!), then yes, a DD Kensai will not be possible. But those are two pretty big ifs for a PrE which, AFAIK, hasn't been officially announced yet for U9. Bear in mind Turbine first said over two years ago they would add a bunch of racial PrEs (inc. DD) and so far we've only gotten one; "glacial" barely describes their pace.

There is a URL in the top of a thread with a link to a d20 write up of the PnP DD. The answer is, Yes, they do have to be lawful.
