    Default Math empower heal

    Done alitle math.

so HP per spell point goes up by: 0,3125
that means per 1000 spell points, you gain: 1,19047619
gain 1.2 cure mass spell per 1000 sp. Is equal to 10 action points
    10 AP equals : 1,2 times 56 = 66,66 spell points

not to mention most clerics burst for heals,
leaving sp for blasting. Not using empower heal at all.

is this worth taking if i only got like 1700 sp in the endlevels?
sounds kindof harsh to give up 10/80 ap for only 100sp in return. sp you will only get if you use your entire bar on healing. which i rarely do.

what kind of cleric build do you have in which you only have 1700SP end-game? don't forget to include archmagi item, shroud SP items. my human cleric does not have a shroud SP item yet and is at 2190SP total, with just an archmagi belt (rakhirs sash).

the math you did was an interesting breakdown. 10ap is a hefty investment, and for only 100SP back at the end of the day..im gonna say no. with bauble / staff of the petitioner / abbot gloves and various other tools to help cut down SP costs, i wouldnt think twice about dumping those 10AP into something else.

question is, what are you planning to dump the points into?

Are you sure empower heal doesn't affect your bursts??

Your thread title isn't exceptionally clear: what you're trying to ask is "Should I take the empower heal enhancements?"

The answer is: depends - do you have anything else to spend them on? If so, it looks like you won't be missing much - if not, why not??

OP was evaluating the Cleric Improved Empower Healing enhancements, reducing the sp cost from using the metamagic feat (it wasn't very clear to me when I first read the post).
BTW, I'm not sure about the formula you're using. Empower healing increases by 50% (75% for a RS) your spell, not 25% as you count. The HP from Empower healing should be 315 (367.5 for a RS II).
    Thelanis: Nassim* (F12/P6/M2) - Talienor** (P18/Ra2) - Feithlin** (F12/Bd7/C1) - Stoneoak* (F12/M6/P2) - Hokusai (M17/F2/C1) - Ardence* (Bd15/F3/Ro2) - Matsushiro* (Ro11/M6/P3) | Argonessen: Luneargent (W18/Ro2) - Talienor (Ro20) - Takshir (Bd16/F2/Ro2) - Hiacynthe (C20) | Ghallanda: A bunch of pre DDO Unlimited characters (field of testing for post U19 )

it looks like it was the 75% empower heal without enhancements (150*1.75=262.5).

with 75% empower and 40% enhancements (210*1.75) it would give 6.1 hp/sp and 204% efficiency.
    imp I 6.2hp/sp - 208% efficiency
    imp II 6.3hp/sp - 211% efficiency
    imp III 6.6 hp/sp - 219% efficiency

This difference does not effect how many sp you would spend per spell, so that point doesn't change. How many sp you save with improved empower depends solely on the number of empowered healing spells you cast (saving 1/2/4 sp per spell).
