Question Can't remove deleted character from MYDDO

I deleted a level 8 character to rebuild him as a 32 point build with vetran status. I renamed the new character the same name. My ddo still only recognizes the old level 8 character and not the new level 5 character. My old character won the lottery and he doesn't exist anymore. How do I delete the old character from my ddo and get it to recognise my new character?. I can't find anything in the knowledge base on this. I tried a ticket, and was told to post here on the forum.
    Thanks, Jason

    Default Cant Remove

No one ever replied that I can see.. and I have the same issue. So do a lot of other people. I'd really like to know how to fix it too. It's stupid to be sitting here months later staring at a character that doesn't exist in my list. Why does it win lotteries too? Where are the items going then? >:-(

No way of doing it that I am aware of. Personally if they are going to persist with MyDDO I would like to see a "REFRESH CHARACTER" button on each characters page. Click on this for it to do a refresh of all character information to show correct level, deleted characters gone etc...
A friend will bail you out of jail.
A mate will be sitting in there beside you saying "**** that was awsome!!!"
