Incorporeal and force damage?

I usually take a Ghost Touch weapon when i think i`m going to face incoporeal creatures like wraiths.

But, i heard someone say that force damage negates the chance to miss incoporeal creatures.
Can anyone confirm this? If you can i`ll be adding force damage to a few weapons..

Confirmed. I use Imbue Arrow: Force on my AA whenever there's a lot of incorporeal undead. Never seem to miss.

I think it even specifically says in the description of Imbue: Force that it negates the miss chance. Don't see why that wouldn't apply to you adding force to a weapon.

Went and got a pair of force fist wraps, wraiths still showed an incorporeal message, like any other non ghost touched attack.

Only the arcane force arrows negate the miss chance from incorporeal, its a special property of those arrows and not of force weapons.

The idea with Force Arrows is that they are a Magic Missile spell wrapped around an arrow, and Magic Missile always hits.

The reason for doing the Force Damage ritual is +1 damage. The only reason not to do it is if the item isn't BtA and you want to be able to pass it to an alt later. If that doesn't appeal to you, feel free to give me your ingredients, I promise I will put them to good use.

Force damage itself doesn't do it. That Arcane Archer ability does because it specifically says,

Imbues arrows with an extra 1d6 force damage and negates the incorporeal miss chance of ethereal creatures.

Hitting harder isn't sufficient reason?

As I understand the rules, force damage should hit incorporeal creatures.

But it usually does not. MM and AA Force arrows are the only things that do I believe.
